Facts about Several People Who Participated in the Arrest and Killing of Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong

September 27, 2005 |

(Clearwisdom.net) The torture and disfigurement of Ms. Gao Rongrong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has shocked people throughout the world. According to people in the know, Ms. Gao went on a prolonged hunger strike after she was arrested in March 2005. Three months later, she died in the emergency room of the China Medical University Hospital, located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Masanjia Forced Labor Camp sent 8 people (6 female and 2 male) to monitor Ms. Gao in Liaoning Province Prison Hospital and China Medical University Hospital located in Shenyang City. Below are some details about the persecution:

On March 6, 2005, Ms. Gao was arrested. Director Yang of the Forced Labor Department, Forced Labor Bureau, Judicial Department of Liaoning Province called Masanjia Forced Labor Camp on the evening of March 6, 2005, immediately after Gao Rongrong was re-arrested. He requested that Masanjia Forced Labor Camp take in Gao Rongrong, despite her poor state of health from having been disfigured and disabled due to prolonged torture. Persecutors in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp accepted Ms. Gao and immediately took her to Dabei Prison Hospital of Liaoning Province. Masanjia Forced Labor Camp sent six women to the hospital to monitor Gao Rongrong. Two were female guards from the labor camp, and four others were laid-off workers from a plant in the labor camp. Each of the four workers signed 6-month contracts with the forced labor camp. They took turns to monitor Ms. Gao around the clock, and Masanjia Forced Labor Camp paid them 500 yuan per month. The four workers had been made aware of Ms. Gao's situation from when she had stayed in the Liaoning Province Prison Hospital, before she was sent to the China Medical University Hospital.

In June 2005, the persecutors transferred Ms. Gao to the emergency room of China Medical University Hospital located in Shenyang City. To prevent people from rescuing her again, persecutors from Masanjia Forced Labor Camp used male guards to monitor her. Most of the guards were from the Security Division of Masanjia Forced Labor Camp (including Li Jun, Wu Zhongbiao, and Yan Shiguang). The Labor Camp guards were stationed outside the room, and two women cared for Ms. Gao inside. Xie Chengdong (male, 43 years old), the Deputy Chief of the First Team in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, was in charge of this matter. According to one of those involved in this case, the cause of Ms. Gao's death could not be determined. Ms. Gao had been on a prolonged hunger strike, which she began before they sent her to China Medical University Hospital.

Ms. Gao Rongrong was severely tortured for over two years. As a result, she lost her hearing in one ear, her face was disfigured from seven hours of electric baton shock torture, her organs had shrunk, and she was emaciated. On June 16, 2005, Ms. Gao passed away in the emergency room of China Medical University Hospital.

Before that, Ms. Gao had been detained at Longshan Forced Labor Camp since June 22, 2003. She persisted in her cultivation and refused to turn against Dafa. On May 7, 2004, Deputy Head of the No. 2 Brigade Tang Yubao and team leader Jiang Zhaohua called Ms. Gao Rongrong to the duty office and shocked her with electric batons for 6-7 hours, from 3:00 p.m. to after 9:00 p.m. She sustained burns on her face, head and neck, which caused her face to swell up and become disfigured. This incident was widely exposed to the international society. The United Nation's Special Rapporteur on torture classified her case as an active emergency file. On October 5, 2004, some Falun Dafa practitioners successfully rescued Ms. Gao Rongrong from the closely monitored hospital. At this point the 610 Office system head Luo Gan personally took charge of the continued persecution of Ms. Gao. The director of Judicial Department of Liaoning Province Yu Fengsheng was ordered directly by Luo Gan to form a "Special Case Group" at the Xiaobailou Brainwashing Class of Zhangshi Reform Camp of Shenyang City. According to people who worked at the forced labor camp, Ms. Gao's case was "controlled directly by the provincial 610 Office."

The killing of Ms. Gao Rongrong shocked the international society and is considered an affront to human conscience.
