(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Regime recently claimed that it would hold large-scale galas in the US and Canada. The intention was clearly to disturb the galas to be held by NTDTV, a television station that dares to report on the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. According to the CCP's propaganda, it is planning on holding a gala concert on January 23 at the same venue where the NTDTV Galas will be held. The theme of the CCP gala is "The Same Song." Advanced publicity claimed that Taiwanese entertainers including Wang Lee Hom, Zhang Hui-Mei, Qi Qin, Pan Weibo and others had been invited to perform. However, it has been found that the propaganda is full of lies.

A Falun Gong practitioner who attended a memorial service for Taiwanese Bass player Brown Ughan on the afternoon of January 17, happened to meet singing star Wang Lee Hom and his manager there. The practitioner first inquired of the manager if she had heard about "The Same Song." The manager replied that she hadn't. The practitioner further inquired if Wang Lee Hom would go to New York to give a performance on the day of the CCP gala, and the manager expressed no planned schedule for a New York trip. The practitioner continued, "'The Same Song' is a tool used by the CCP to brainwash and "transform" Falun Gong practitioners [who have been illegally held in forced labor camps and prisons]. The song is stained with blood. We hope that Wang Lee Hom won't participate in this concert, which could negatively affect his performance career. Please deliver these informational materials to Wang Lee Hom." The manager complied and accepted the materials. She then sat aside and read the materials. When she read that "The Same Song" is used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps in Mainland China, her expression was quite serious.

The CCP lied by claiming that Wang Lee Hom would go to New York to participate in "The Same Song" concert and would sing "Descendants of the Dragon," in an attempt to entice more people to watch its slanderous program that destroys people's morality and souls. This is an often-used trick, an attempt to whitewash the persecution of Falun Gong, and aiming to extend the persecution outside China and to psychologically numb the minds of people overseas.

"The Same Song" is the song that the CCP uses to brainwash and "transform" Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners are forced to sing the song together with the guards who tortured them ruthlessly. It is reported that whenever a Falun Gong practitioner was illegally arrested and sent to a forced labor camp, the brutal brainwashing and "transformation" attempts begin. If a practitioner is "transformed" amid brutal torture and coercion, the first thing he/she is forced to do is to sing "The Same Song" with the guards who had participated in "transforming" them. Their persecution and brainwashing tactics are numerous and barbaric, including all kinds of tortures, physical and mental coercion, rape and other inhuman means. Even common criminals in forced labor camps know that when they hear "The Same Song," it means that someone had been forced to succumb to the guards after suffering unspeakable tortures. Behind the song is unfathomable misery and the blood and tears of tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners who have been suffering persecution in China.

In addition, the director of the Taiwan Performing and Arts Association, Yu Tian, said that he would investigate which entertainers go to New York to participate in the "Same Song" concert, including any who signed contracts and how much reward they would be paid.

Director of the Taipei Performance Trade Union, Yang Guangyou, was also at the memorial service and listened to the Falun Gong practitioner's explanation of the situation about "The Same Song" and the CCP's gala in New York. Yang Guangyou was astounded at the news. He immediately expressed that he would convey the message to his union members and look into who might have participated in this matter.

Falun Gong practitioners expressed that they hoped the entertainers would understand the truth of the brutal killings and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners inflicted by the CCP's tyranny. The practitioners believe that once they learn the truth, performers will definitely not be willing to continue assisting the Chinese Communist regime to do evil deeds, and neither will they be willing to sing to eulogize murderers who arbitrarily slaughter innocent people.
