Germany: People of Stuttgart Visibly Shocked by Organ Harvesting from Living Falun Gong Practitioners in China (Photo)

May 19, 2006 |

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 29, 2006, in collaboration with the International Society for Human Rights, Falun Gong practitioners organized activities to inform the citizens of Stuttgart about the harvesting of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners in China. They used large banners and poster boards to explain the repulsive crimes that are committed in more than thirty six secret concentration camps in China.

Many people thought that after World War II, another Holocaust would never again be allowed to happen. They were shocked by the information and spontaneously asked to sign our petition.

Close to the information booth, a female actor posing as a doctor in green scrub gown re-enacted an organ harvesting scene. Close by was a 'policeman' in uniform carrying a fat money pouch to symbolize the hunger for profit shown by the Communist Party. Torture methods commonly used in China against Falun Gong practitioners were also displayed.

Many passersby waited their turn to sign the petition. Later in the afternoon, we had to print several thousand additional flyers in order to supply everyone who was interested.

A camera team from a college for journalists came to film the activities surrounding the information booth for several hours and was able to interview some of the passers-by. They were able to capture many shocked reactions. One supervisor of a project to improve communication skills among managers invited us to attend one of her seminars and to report to them about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Another practitioner had the opportunity to speak with the leader of a youth discussion group who is currently writing an essay on the topic: "When politics interferes with the arts and sciences". He wants to discuss the persecution of Falun Gong in China with his youth group.
