(Clearwisdom.net) Chung-li, located in the center of Taoyuan County, is the county's major city and the city with the most Kejia population in northern Taiwan. More and more people in the city have learned Falun Gong. Following are some details describing how Falun Dafa has been welcomed.

Chung-li city's nine districts have 43 Falun Gong practice areas. There are eight sites that provide free nine-day Fa study and exercise workshops from the 1-9 of each month. The group study provides an environment for practitioners to share their cultivation experiences. The practitioners in Chung-li have held many activities to demonstrate the wonders of Dafa to the residents.

2. Spreading Dafa and establishing a Falun Gong club at schools

Many Dafa practitioners in the area are school teachers. They are often invited to participate in important school holiday performances. This led to more and more teachers and students having an opportunity to join in the Falun Gong practice. For example, National Central University in the Chung-li area not only has morning Falun Gong group practice, but also established a Falun Gong Club for faculty/staff and students, providing a good cultivating environment for them as well as for local residents. Students in the club are often involved in school anniversary celebrations or functions for different associations where they have an opportunity to show the wonders of Falun Dafa. The club has also held concerts and a parent-child summer camp to introduce Dafa to the public.

The university faculty/staff Falun Gong club was established in May 2005. When participating in the association achievement exhibition, director Lin Yuquan commended the Falun Gong club as the youngest organization with the lowest budget at the exhibition, yet they managed to present nine exhibition boards with rich materials, which was quite impressive.

The school has a model employee who used to suffer from chronic asthma and heart disease. After practicing Falun Gong, her health condition improved enormously and she also has a totally different worldview. Mr. Wu, 81 years old, threw away all his medication after learning Falun Gong and gave up on the idea of suicide, brought on by a fear of continuing to suffer great pain due to his illnesses.

Nali High School has also established a teacher’s Falun Gong club. Ms. Wu is a history teacher who had poor health prior to Dafa practice. She had undergone several surgeries but her disease was not cured. She also suffered from depression and took Chinese and Western drugs daily. Once, she fainted in the classroom. After learning Falun Gong, her body and mind got better. Now she is in high spirits and has a strong voice when teaching.

Witnessing Ms. Wu’s significant physical and mental improvements, her students started practicing along with her during their lunch break. After some people graduated from the high school, they either joined the Falun Gong club already established, or established a new Falun Gong club at their universities. Ms. Wu does everything daily according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. As a result, her parents, her in-laws, and her husband and three children have started practicing Falun Gong.

3. Minghui School--the cradle of studying Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance:

Taiwan Chung-li Minghui School was established on October 23, 2004. The curriculum includes Fa-study, exercises, story telling, drum and dance practices, singing and other talent and skills classes. Children range in age from preschool to the first year of middle school. One youngster was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). In the past two years, his mother helped him persist to study Dafa. Now he not only does a good job in Fa study, but also calls people in Mainland China along with his mother and younger sister to tell the facts of Dafa to people there. Many children in the school have experienced positive physical and mental changes. This is another way to show the miraculous effects of Falun Gong in purifying a human being.

Having been told of the persecution in China, the young practitioners are involved in truth-clarification activities by making drawings and sending letters to China, or calling labor camps in China. Some of them participated in activities abroad with their parents; some use their songs and drumbeat to express the innocence of their hearts with kindness.

A mother who is an educator said, "There is great energy in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. I can see the changes in my students, little by little. The class that used to be full of selfish, competitive and defensive students has changed into a class that is amiable, solicitous and cooperative. Once, a student sent me a dozen brief messages. She was deeply moved by another student in the class who has expressed selflessness and caring for others. She thanked me for teaching them to lead such a beautiful life. I am deeply grateful that Dafa taught me how to actually lead a happy life. "

In working to end the persecution, the Chung-li Falun Gong practitioners have expressed their uncompromising courage. They use peaceful and rational ways to appeal to people and counter the persecution together. During this process, Dafa practitioners have shown the world their great compassion and tolerance. On the other hand, they have let people know about the CCP’s ruthless and odious influence and the truth of the evil specter.
