The Shinagawa Dance Festival is a cultural celebration with a long history. It is held ceremoniously in CURIA Theater in Shinagawa, Tokyo every year. The beautiful and pure dance performance by Falun Gong practitioners won high praise from the sponsor. It was the first time that Falun Gong practitioners participated in the festival.

Before their dance, Falun Gong practitioners told the audience that they all practiced Falun Gong, a cultivation system that improves physical and mental health, and that Falun Gong practitioners follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance to improve their hearts and minds. They said their dance was based on their understanding of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.

The Falun Gong practitioners performed the dance "Golden Light Thousand-Arm Buddha," which shows the Buddha's compassion and dignity. The beautiful dance movements implied the compassion of cultivators and won warm applause from the audience. Audience members exclaimed, "Gorgeous! Gorgeous!"

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises and explained the characteristics and health effects of the exercises. Many people in the audience copied the exercise movements.

Shinagawa Cable TV interviewed the practitioners after the show. One Falun Gong practitioner told the reporter, "It is a great honor to participate in this performance. It was Falun Gong that brought us together. It is a great cultivation system." Many people and participants from other groups said they wanted to learn the dance created by the Falun Gong practitioners.
