(Clearwisdom.net) My daughter, Yuming, is six years old. Over the past six years, we cultivated and grew up together in Dafa. On the fourth day after she was born, my husband and I took her to group study. When she was one month old, we took her to group practice. She was always quiet and did not cry. When she was a little over four months old, we flew to Europe to clarify the truth and spread the Fa. At nine months old, she participated with us in the Emergency Rescue Walk. She neither cried nor was she colic, and everyone adored this little practitioner.

As Yuming grows, I have her listen to Teacher's Fa-lectures and Dafa music. Since she was three, she has recited Lunyu and "Hong Yin". I often tell her in a language that she can understand that although she is a baby, she is also a Dafa practitioner and has to be strict with herself. For instance, not to waste food, since a grain of rice is a mountain in another dimension, and it should be cherished. When she is not happy, she should not stare at others with an unkind look. She shouldn't squint and look people straight in the eye. She shouldn't get mad. She should share her things with others.

Of course, being a child, sometimes she is willful and disobedient. Sometimes I couldn't guard my xinxing and really got angry. Afterwards I looked inward and saw that my outbursts were always caused by my attachments and bad notions. I try hard to inhibit my demonic nature. I realized that if I don't study the "Fa" and do the "three things' well, then I can't teach the child who is a little practitioner to do good. Teaching a little practitioner to be good is part of my cultivation. So, first thing in the morning, we study the Fa. I lead her in reading Zhuan Falun and have her copy some words from it. Nowadays she is able to read along with us in group Fa study. The more she studies, the clearer she understands my criticism and requirements for her and the Fa principles that I explain.

Yuming went to preschool when she was five. Before school opened, the teacher gave each parent a piece of cardboard one meter in length. The teacher wanted each parent and child to make a cardboard cut-out in the child's image. The hair style, shape of her face and clothes had to be characteristic of the child. I thought this was a good chance to clarify the truth. Yuming and I cut out a hair style similar to hers, then painted eyes, nose and mouth similar to Yuming's. We created a vivid image of a cute and pure child. We dressed the cardboard image and I wrote "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" in Chinese and English on the front of the top in sharp colors with clear strokes. Finally, in its hand we hung a lotus flower with a bookmark underneath with "Falun Dafa is good" written on it. The schoolteacher hung the cardboard image prominently in the center of the school hallway.

One week after school opened, the teachers gave each pupil a poster board to share something about themselves. There were many questions on the board that had to be answered and some vacant spots for photos. One question was: "What do you like?" We answered: "To practice Falun Gong." "What's the reason you like yourself?" "Because I'm a little Dafa disciple." "What do you feel grateful for?" "I feel grateful for Falun Dafa which let me understand Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, the supreme principle of the universe." "What are your favorite books" "Zhuan Falun and Hong Yin." Yuming and I also picked some photos from an album. They showed her participating in various Dafa activities such as meditating in a lotus flower on a float, exercising, and sending righteous thoughts. Since there was room for parents' photos, we posted photos of her father performing the lion dance and me playing a fairy lady in a parade. Meanwhile, I prepared some Dafa and truth clarification materials to show her teacher so that she would get to know the truth and could help Yuming explain the content of the poster board to all her classmates.

Once a week, the preschool class had pupils sit on the teacher's platform to share their experiences with their classmates. I discussed with Yuming that she could utilize the opportunity to introduce her Falun emblem pin, the lotus flower that she likes, as well as Dafa related materials. Besides this, I suggested that she recite both in English and Chinese one poem from Hong Yin each week. Before recitation, she would explain the brief meaning of the poem, and after recitation, she would answer questions from the teacher and the class. Both her teacher and the class responded well, saying how beautiful the poems were. Later I suggested that Yuming share the five exercises with her teacher and the class. Before demonstrating the exercise she would say that "Falun Dafa is a good cultivation way that practices 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.'" After the first demonstration, her teacher and the whole class practiced the exercises with Yuming. After the exercises were over, she read Hong Yin. Classmates said that they liked the movements very much, and her teacher said that the practice made her feel good and relaxed. Yuming also played "Falun Dafa Is Good" on her accordion and sang the song. Both her teacher and classmates liked the song.

When Valentine's Day was approaching, her teacher asked each pupil to make cards for all their classmates and the teacher. Yuming and I made elegant cards on which were written the three shining Chinese characters for "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." We hoped that the teacher and her classmates would bear the cosmic characteristic deep in their minds.

In short, Dafa can be spread through many school activities. Yuming as a little disciple has been introducing the beauty of Dafa to her teachers and schoolmates.

Yuming is six now. We are like fellow practitioners, comparing Fa-study and cultivation and cultivating diligently together.
