Switzerland: Moving Stories about Raising Awareness of Falun Gong among Chinese Tourists

July 09, 2007 |   By a Swiss practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) Lausanne is a renowned tourist site in Switzerland. There are always many tourists visiting its famous attractions, including more and more tourists from Mainland China. It is an excellent place for Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland to talk to Chinese people face-to-face, distribute the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, encourage withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and help the precious Chinese people know the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. Swiss practitioners have arranged five days each week to go to Lausanne to distribute leaflets and talk about Falun Gong.

During their interaction with tourists from Mainland China and in the course of the face-to-face truth clarification, there have been many moving stories.

One day at the lakeside of Lausanne, a large bus full of Chinese tourists arrived. Falun Gong practitioners went forward to warmly welcome them and give them the Nine Commentaries and other truth-clarification materials. At that moment, one Chinese tourist suddenly called out, "Falun Gong is great" with a loud voice, and then a few others followed. Almost all these Chinese tourists on the coach accepted the materials.

This greeting from the Chinese tourist is a sign that many Chinese people already know about Falun Gong, but in China, they have to hide their true feelings. He could face imprisonment and suffer brutal persecution for voicing support for Falun Gong. When he came to Switzerland, a democratic country, and given a warm welcome by Falun Gong practitioners, he could finally express his feelings.

The practitioners were touched. They were so pleased for these Chinese tourists, who know the truth about Falun Gong. The practitioners shook their hands warmly and wished them well in the future.
