(Clearwisdom.net) The Mid-Autumn Festival Spectacular hosted by the Canadian Falun Dafa Association, with performances by the Divine Performing Arts, will be held at the Toronto Centre of the Arts on September 27th and 28th, 2007. As word spreads throughout the community, more and more Asian people are searching for tickets.

Mr Jiang, a 78-year-old Vietnamese man, drove more than one hour to the city centre to buy tickets in Chinatown, and left happily after he purchased two tickets.

"You have to be there to experience the soothing feeling"

Ms Zhu, a native of Shanghai, arrived at the ticket booth in Chinatown. She waited in line after a young man who was purchasing tickets, and said to him, "You get a great feeling after watching this show." The young man then asked, "The show hasn't happened yet, how do you know it's good?" Ms Zhu said, "I watched the last year's 2007 Chinese New Year Spectacular. After I came out of the show, I had a very good feeling, so I am here again to purchase another ticket."

Ms Qi, the ticket seller asked Ms Zhu with curiosity, "Can you describe the feeling you had?"

Ms Zhu replied, "Yes." She then covered her chest with one hand, and patted her head and thighs with the other and said, "This heart, this head, my legs and arms, felt like they all changed, it was an unspeakably soothing feeling. Even daily pressures that used to worry me and cause discomfort in my heart all disappeared without a trace." As she spoke, she looked to the sky, in remembrance of the experience. She then said, "That feeling of an entire change in mind and body, is really hard to describe for me." She also said, "Such an effect doesn't come from watching television programs, you have to be there to experience it."

"I really want to go home"

Ticket booth employee Ms Zhang, said to the reporter, "Once I saw an old man with a walking stick, watching from aside. In the beginning, I did not think of introducing the show to him. However, it seemed he did not want to leave, so we started to chat. The first words he spoke made me curious, he said, "I am particularly lucky today." I asked him why, and he replied, "Because I have met you people!" I then introduced him to the stories behind each dance, such as those of "Mulan", "Yue Fei". He was very moved upon hearing these, and said "I must go and see, I must see it. Hearing about your show is like returning home. I am 92 years of age this year, and have been in Canada for 30 years. I really miss my home."

"As long as we can get tickets, we don't need to sit together"

Ms Qi also spoke of a man around 70 years of age, who was at the ticket booth several days before. He wanted to check with his son in case they both bought tickets. He was back the next day, and asked for three tickets. Ms Qi said with regret, "We don't have three seats together at that ticket price." The man replied, "As long as we can get tickets, we don't need to sit together".

Watch the show, support Falun Gong, and understand Chinese culture

An elderly couple who immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong said to ticket booth employee Wang Zheng, "We saw this in the Epoch Times. We often read the Epoch Times. Through reading this paper, we have come to understand Falun Gong, you have done very well, and have been very righteous. We are going to see this show just to support Falun Gong."

Another lady named Ellen bought three tickets at the booth. She said she would find someone to look after her baby daughter, and come to the show with her husband and eldest daughter. She also showed her support for Falun Gong, and said she would let her friends know about the Spectacular.

A lady who came to Canada from Guangzhou over 40 years ago bought five $80 tickets. She said that her son will come to Toronto from Vancouver this weekend. She will come to see the show with her whole family including her grandson. She also said that learning Chinese not only to learn about the Chinese language but to learn its cultural connotations.
