Seven practitioners were arrested and put into the Anqiu City Detention Center on May 12, 2008. Mr. Wang Haiqing was severely tortured and lost bowl and bladder control.

Personnel from the Cuidong Police Station arrested Ms. Jiang Mingyu from Beixi City at 9:00 p.m. on April 23, 2008. Ten police officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong truth-clarification materials and personal belongings.

Ms. Jiang's mother Ms. Jin Yuxian was traumatized and worried about Ms. Jiang. She suffered a relapse of her heart disease and died on June 4, 2008. Ms. Jiang's 80-year-old father is left home alone.

More than twenty practitioners have been arrested since January 24, 2008 in the run-up to the Olympic Games. Police sent the practitioners to the Beijing Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp's Dispatch Section. They planned to send practitioners to Xinjiang, Henan and Inner Mongolia for further persecution.

Officers also ransacked Mr. Zhao Changsheng's home on the night of June 8, 2008. He is currently being held in a detention center.

Several practitioners are still being held at the Sihui Prison. The practitioners include Mr. Liu Xifeng, Mr. Fan Chenyu, Mr. Zhang Yuhui, Ms. Yuan Hua, Mr. Rao Chaoyuan, Mr. Guo Yue, Mr. Liang Gang, Mr. Zhou Xiaohui, Mr. Guo Rui and Mr. Feng Wentao.

More than twenty practitioners, including 74-year-old Ms. Wei Wanru from Huining County, have been arrested since May 2008.

Personnel from Laishui County Government and from other township governments arrested 60-year-old Ms. Zhang Fengzhi from Beizhuang Village, Shiting Town on June 6, 2008. They confiscated many Dafa books.

More than ten practitioners from Laishui County were arrested and taken to the county detention center. They included Ms. Wang Xiufen and Mr. Qu Haicheng from Yanling Village, Loucun Township, Ms. Wu Fengxian from Xuejiazhuang Village, Dongwenshan Township and Ms. Chen Shuping from Xiazhuang Village, Yi'an Town.

Police also confiscated Ms. Lu Huichun's computer and a printer.

Personnel from the Dalinghe Police Station in Linghai City arrested Ms. Zhang Fengzhen and put her in the city detention center at 10:00 a.m. on June 10, 2008.

Mr. San Chunwei from Qingzhou City and Mr. Li Jinzhong from Changle County are being tortured in the Kuiwen District Brainwashing Center in Weifang City.

Police recently arrested 40-year-old Ms. Wang Jiahua and are holding her at the Beichen District Police Department.

Personnel from the Binzhou City Police Department and from the 610 Office arrested Ms. Huang Yuping, Ms. Wei Jinzhi, Ms. Liu Renxia and Ms. Qing on May 22, 2008. They confiscated a laptop computer, a printer, Dafa books and truth-clarification materials.

Personnel from the Fuxing District Domestic Security Division in Handan City broke into Ms. Cao Yin'e home and arrested her at 3:00 p.m. on June 7, 2008. They confiscated 90 pounds of copper that the family had bought.

Several officers from the Linhe District Domestic Security Division in Bayanzhuoer City arrested 30-year-old Mr. Feng Tianzhi and ransacked his home at noon on June 1, 2008. Mr. Feng's wife is living away from home to avoid further persecution.

Ms. Peng Xiaoyan and Mr. Liu Guigen from the Yulong Mafang Factory in Leshan City were arrested and their home was ransacked.

Personnel from the Wugang City 610 Office, from the Domestic Security Division and from the local police station arrested more than ten practitioners around May 27, 2008. Several practitioners' homes have been ransacked. The arrested practitioners included Ms. Huang Guihua (a primary school teacher), Ms. Huang Shuhong (a kindergarten teacher), 70-year-old Mr. Zhang Weidong, Ms. Guo Jianping, Ms. Xie and Ms. Ji (a primary school principal).

A Falun Gong truth clarification materials production site in Zhuozhou City was damaged on the night of April 23, 2008. Thirty-five-year-old Mr. Fu Zhongyi and 40-year-old Ms. Zheng Huifang were arrested and held in the city detention center. Their current circumstances are unknown.

Police arrested 55-year-old Ms. Li Xiuqing on the morning of June 9, 2008 when she distributed Falun Gong truth-clarification materials in the Jiahua Community. Four police officers took her home key and ransacked her home in the absence of Ms. Li's family members. Ms. Li was taken to the Tieling Detention Center at 5:00 p.m. that same afternoon.

Ms. Jin Shouqun, a teacher from the Dahe Mine Primary School in Liupanshui City, was arrested and her home was ransacked.

Ms. Jin and her husband Mr. Tang Qun were arrested at noon on April 24, 2008 and sentenced to three years and one year in prison, respectively.

Officer Jia You from the Huachuan County 610 Office, and Hengtoushan Town Police Station deputy chief Dai Wenming broke into Ms. Zhang Hong's home in Jiefang Village, at 8:00 p.m. on May 13, 2008. They confiscated a satellite dish and other items.

Mr. Li Guangxun was arrested on May 29, 2008 for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. He is being held in the Yuemingshan No. 2 Detention Center in Anshan City, Liaoning Province. Mr. Li's parents are in poor health, and his wife is unemployed. They also have two children, ages three and five.

Xigang District Court agents in Dalian City sentenced Mr. Wang Chunrong at 9:00 a.m. on May 29, 2008. Mr. Wang defended himself, but the court did not arrive at a verdict.

Personnel from the Chezhen Township Police Station in Wuli County, Shandong Province arrested 40-year-old Mr. Huang Shaocang in the Dongli District, Tianjin at 1:00 p.m. on June 4, 2008. Mr. Huang is being held in the township's police station in Wuli County.

Police followed 70-year-old Ms. Li Ejiao from Beiquan Town, the Shihezi District in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region on June 2, 2008 and ransacked her home. They arrested her on June 5, 2008.

Police arrested Mr. Lu Daqi from a printer repair center in the Ouya Technology Complex, Changchun City on April 23, 2008. Mr. Lu is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.

Ms. Li Deping from the Chaoyang District was arrested at her workplace on May 9, 2008. She is being held in the district detention center.

Three practitioners from Donghuayuan Town, Huailai County were arrested from their homes on the afternoon of June 4, 2008. Police confiscated a computer, a printer, 4,000 yuan in cash, a minivan, and some Falun Gong truth-clarification materials and copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party from Ms. Chang Lan's home. The police also closed Mr. Zhang's cellular phone store and arrested him. The other practitioner's whereabouts are unknown.

The police ransacked Ms. Zhao Jinqing's home in Huoshaoying Village, Donghuayuan Town at 11:00 p.m. on June 4, 2008.

Seven policemen arrested 50-year-old Mr. Miao Zhiguo at his workplace, the Luoshen Grand Hotel, in Luoyang City, Henan Province at 4:00 p.m. on May 28, 2008. They took him to the Huashan Hotel Brainwashing Center, where another seven practitioners are being held.

Personnel from the Yuetang Police Station arrested Ms. Guo Qingming and confiscated a satellite dish and several Falun Gong books in March 2008. Ms. Guo was under arrest for 15 days and put in a brainwashing center. She is staging a hunger strike in protest. Ms. Guo has been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor in the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. She has been held in the forced labor camp twice before, for a total of four years.

Personnel from the Heping Police Station in the Congtai District, Handan City broke into Mr. Wang Xinzheng's home. They arrested Mr. Wang and his father and confiscated 10,000 yuan in cash and an MP3 player on June 10, 2008.
