1. [Liaoning Province] Many Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor

At 5:00 p.m., on September 13, 2009, officers from the Jinzhou City State Police Security Division and the Linghai State Security Division arrested five practitioners: Ms. He Guixiang; her daughter, Ms. Zhao Xiaochun; her daughter's mother-in-law; and Mr. Zhang Deguo (Mr Zhang Lei's father). All five practitioners were later sentenced to one year at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Officers from the Linghai Police Bureau confiscated 13,000 yuan and a computer hard-drive.

2.[Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Xing Tongfu and Mr. Li Deli Released after Years of Being Persecuted

Around December 25, 2001, Mr. Xing Tongfu from Xiangantun Township was arrested by officers from the Guan County Police Department. Less than a week later, he was taken to the Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp in the Wangchun Area in Zibo City. Mr. Xing's wife and their son, who was studying at the Shen County Teachers' School at that time, were also sentenced to forced labor. In the spring of 2002, Mr. Xing was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Guan County Court. On approximately October 5, 2009, he was released.

At about 9:00 p.m. on September 21, 2007, Mr. Li Deli from Xinji Township, Guan County, was arrested by officers from the Guantao County Police Department in Qiyi Bridge, Guantao County, Hebei Province, while he was riding his motorcycle. He was first taken to the Guantao County Detention Center, then later transferred to the Handan City Forced Labor Camp. On August 30, 2009, Mr. Li was released.

3. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Qilong Arrested

At 8:30 a.m., on October 27, 2009, Mr. Liu Qilong from Lingzi Village, Lingzi Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City, was arrested by twelve plainclothes officers from the Lingzi Town Police Station's Anti-Falun Gong Division in Zichuan District, Zhoucun District, Zibo City. His home was later ransacked and his motorcycle, Dafa books, and Master Li's photos were all taken away. He is currently being held at the Zhoucun Detention Center.

5. [Rushan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zou Jun Taken to a Brainwashing Center after Being Detained for Over One Month

After Ms. Zou Jun was arrested and detained for 30 days, officers from the Rushan City Police Department took her to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp Brainwashing Center. They asked her daughter, who worked as an intern at a hospital, and a relative of Ms. Zou to accompany her. Ms. Zou is being held at the brainwashing center.

6. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xiuyun and Ms. Li Lanying Scheduled to Stand Trial

Ms. Wang Xiuyun and and Ms. Li Lanying were arrested on April 17, 2009. They were scheduled to stand trial at the Shuangqiao District Court, Chengdu City, on November 5, 2009.

7. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Huang Lianying Arrested

Ms. Huang Lianying, an elderly practitioner from Sancha Street in the Cangshan District of Fuzhou City, was arrested while distributing truth clarifying materials in a village near Gu Mountain. She is being detained at the Fuzhou City Second Detention Center in the Cangshan District.

8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Zhengbi's Whereabouts Still Unknown

Ms. Zhang Zhengbi, in her 60s, is from the Second Village, Fengtai Township, Xinqiao Town, Middle District, Suining City. While she was living at her daughter's home in Suining City, she often went to the Suining Middle District to explain the facts about Falun Gong. The last time she went out to hand out Falun Gong related materials, she failed to return. She has been missing for the past three weeks now, and her family is very worried for her safety.

9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhao Guoqin and Her Daughter Arrested

Ms. Zhao Guoqin, 71, from the Zhuangzhonglou District in Chifeng City was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division in Pingzhuang. At about 12:00 p.m., on October 30, 2009, Ms. Zhao's third daughter, a non-practitioner, was also arrested. The mother and daughter's whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Additional Information on Ms. Bai Qiongfang's Arrest

After Ms. Bai Qiongfang from the Wenjiang District in Chengdu City was arrested and taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center on November 1, 2009, she developed high blood pressure and found it difficult to breathe. When she was critically ill, the guards released her in order to avoid taking responsibility for her condition.

Ms. Yin Xianfen was taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center after she was arrested on September 14, 2009.

11. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xie Yujun Arrested

On the evening of October 27, 2009, Mr. Xie Yujun and two other practitioners were arrested in Wuhua County while they were handing out informational materials. They are being detained at the Wuhua County Detention Center.

At around 11 a.m. on October 28, 2009, Xingning City Domestic Security Division deputy leader Xing Zhengquan and a group of agents broke into Mr. Xie's home and ransacked it.

12. [Shanghai] Ms. Hong Yijun Arrested Six Months Ago

Ms. Zhong Yijun, in her 60s, was reported missing in May 2009. Her family recently learned that she had been arrested and later detained in the Putuo District Detention Center.

13. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Detained

On October 26 and 27, 2009, police arrested the following six practitioners: Ms. Li Fenglan, 58, a retired teacher from Nancha District Second Elementary School; Ms. Man Xiaomin, 55, retired (harassed multiple times before October 1, 2009); Ms. Zhang Yaxian, 55, retired; Ms. He Miao, in her 40s, an employee of Nancha District Industrial and Commercial Bank; Mr. Hou Zhijun, a crippled appliance repairman; and Ms. Zhang Yulan, in her 40s, a teacher at the Railroad Elementary School.

14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Jun Transferred to Hohhot City Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Han Jun from Dalian City was arrested in Beijing on April 8, 2009, by officers from the Xuanwu District Police Department. She was first taken to the Beijing Forced Labor Camp then later transferred to the Hohhot Forced Labor Camp in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

15. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jin Xianzhong Arrested

On October 28, 2009, Mr. Jin Xianzhong was arrested while he was handing out Falun Gong related fliers in the Xinchengzi Area. The police later ransacked his home. His whereabouts are unknown.

16. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Yuxiang Arrested at Home

At around 7 p.m. on October 28, 2009, five or six Domestic Security agents stormed into Ms. Gao Yuxiang's home and arrested her and her 76-year-old mother. Ms. Gao's mother was released that evening. After the police ransacked Ms. Gao's home, they took two computers and two printers. She is being detained at the Nanshan Detention Center.

Mr. Wei Yanjun was fired from his job for practicing Falun Gong. He now earns a living doing odd jobs at the Computer Shopping Mall. During the first week of October 2009, Domestic Security agents from the Taishan District Police Department went to Mr. Wei's home and arrested him. After they ransacked his residence, they hauled off a car full of computer and personal business related items. Mr. Wei is being detained at the Taishan District Police Department.
