Thoughts on the Indictment of Jiang Zemin from an 87-year-old Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) I am an 87-year-old practitioner in Fujian Province. I began to practice Falun Gong in 1996. Today I learned that a Spanish judge has indicted Jiang Zemin and I am extremely pleased. I believe this is the retribution Jiang deserves, as he has so much blood on his hands.

Since its public introduction in May 1992, Falun Dafa has attracted countless people, and I am one of them. The practice has given me a healthy body and a calm mind. My family is also very pleased with the benefits.

Out of hatred and jealousy, the former CCP leader, Jiang Zemin, instigated a brutal persecution of Falun Gong. The regime even went so far as to stage a "self-immolation" on Tiananmen Square to deceive the entire nation and to slander Falun Gong.

Shortly after the persecution began, I went to the provincial Bureau for Letters and Calls, to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to them. The public security department arrested all of the Falun Gong representatives. Although I was not a "representative," I was present and so I was also arrested by agents from the provincial Department of State Security. I was interrogated for more than ten hours. I was threatened and told if I did not reveal the so-called "Falun Gong organization," and admit that I had distributed truth-clarifying pamphlets, I would be sent to a forced labor camp or prison. They asked me to choose. I was not intimidated. I firmly believed that justice would prevail over evil. When they could not get anything from me, they told me to go home and think it over. They also wanted to be "friends" with me, meaning that they wanted me to be an informant for them. They were dreaming.

In early 2000, I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. I saw many practitioners on Tiananmen Square holding banners that said "Falun Dafa Is Good!" or "Zhen-Shan-Ren Is Good!" There were also western practitioners. They were put in the police cars and taken away. Tiananmen Square has become a place for Jiang and his regime to persecute innocent Falun Gong practitioners.

I was also arrested and taken to the provincial representative's office in Beijing before I was escorted home. Afterwards, I was fined, my pension was reduced and my benefits were cut at my workplace. My name appeared on the blacklist, and my home telephone was monitored. My house was watched, and I was followed wherever I went. I lost my basic freedom. My workplace and the neighborhood committee forced me to attend a brainwashing session. Many practitioners that I know were sent to forced labor camps or mental hospitals, sentenced, or injected with unknown drugs. Yet, none of us hit back when attacked or talked back when insulted. We tried to clarify the truth to the police officers who beat us and hoped that it would do them good.

Three women from the Fujian Normal University, Ms. Ye Qiaoming, Ms. Wang Xiuqin, and Ms. Fan Kejun, were recently arrested by Zhou Xun and other officers from the Fuzhou City Domestic Security Division. The officers acted like bandits, breaking into the practitioners' homes and confiscating their computers, mobile phones and other personal property. Now, the three are facing trial. I truly want to ask Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan: "What crimes have they committed? Is one guilty of a crime for upholding one's belief? It is you who act like criminals and it is you that are guilty!"

Fortunately as a result of our truth-clarifying efforts, more and more people around the world want to see justice for Falun Gong. The Spanish Court's indictment of Jiang Zemin comes with immense satisfaction from the people. It shows that Jiang Zemin and his regime will eventually face trial in front of a court that is just, and that justice will triumph over evil.

I hope that more and more people in China will wake up and quit CCP and its affiliated organizations. We should not allow CCP to continue doing evil acts.
