Competition 2009 (KLWMBC 2009) was held on December 15-19, 2009, in

The KLWMBC is in its third year in Malaysia, attracting 25 bands
from 12 countries. The organizer estimated that it drew 60,000
visitors. The Divine Land Marching Band stood out during the
opening ceremony on the evening of December 15. The street parade began at 9:00 p.m. The Divine Land Marching
Band moved forward while performing "Falun Dafa Is Good." After the
band passed by the guests' gallery, thousands of spectators, who
packed both sides of the road, applauded and cheered. The Divine
Land Marching Band also performed "Fa Drums and Fa Trumpets Shake
the World in Ten Directions," "Ode to Joy," "Joy to the World," and
other pieces. The Divine Land Marching Band was invited to perform in the
semi-final round held on the evening of December 17 at Stadium
Bolasepak Kuala Lumpur, Cheras. The band marched into the center of the competition venue after
the host's introduction and performed several resounding music
pieces. As soon as they finished their performance, the audience
gave them applause and cheers. The organizer then invited the band
to act as Performance Ambassador at "Times Square," a designated
shopping center for the competition. Posting date: 12/24/2009
