(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts' New York Company graced the stage once more at Houston's Jones Hall to an enthusiastic crowd Tuesday night.

Mrs. Fruit, an interior designer, was there with her daughter to enjoy the show.

"It's wonderful. I love the ribbon dances and I'm amazed at all the strength. It's high stamina. I'm really impressed.

"I also think it's wonderful we're learning a lot about Chinese culture. We're seeing things from Tibet to Mongolia and to the contemporary ... I didn't expect that we'd be learning about culture. It's really wonderful. It's exciting."

Mrs. Fruit, an interior designer, attended Shen Yun with her daughter.

"Each dance has a message," Mrs. Fruit said.

"Also, the theme seems to tie in to the region from China where it came from. The Mongolian dancers had a whole different energy than the one with the flowing silk. The energy level varies from dance to dance.

"The thing that makes it so impressive is the synchronization. It's all on time and the dancers dance perfectly in harmony and synchronization. It's a really beautiful feature of these dancers. That just stands out in all the performances."

Mrs. Fruit pointed out that in American dancing more emphasis is placed on solo performances.

"In the Chinese form, it's more of a group effort. It's not on a singular person. It's a group. In American dancing it's the other way around. I'm really enjoying seeing the group effort," she said.

"I had no idea that the Chinese culture had so much precision dancing."

"The one that nothing can block the one true path--that really touched me. It was very emotional and beautiful."

Mrs. Fruit refers to the piece Nothing Can Block the Divine Path in which a mother and daughter who perform Falun Dafa exercises in a park are brutalized by police who carried out orders to arrest and break the will of anyone who follows this peaceful spiritual discipline. The mother is dragged to a detention center where she pays the ultimate price for trying to protect her daughter. However, this tragedy does not go unnoticed, as the heavens are watching.

"What amazes me about this whole show is the Chinese belief in eternal life. I didn't know they believed in that. It probably gave Americans a whole new perspective about what happens to us when we pass on."

Mrs. Fruit's daughter also enjoyed the experience.

"The costumes and the music is just beautiful. The movement, and how well orchestrated and coordinated it is. The energy, rhythm and energy is magnificent."

"The whole thing is extremely impressive," Mrs. Fruit concluded.

"It's a joy to be here and see all this."
