(Clearwisdom.net) On February 18, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company graced the stage of the Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka. Among the enthralled audience was a Chinese lady who flew to Japan from mainland China just to see the show.

"I came for Divine Performing Arts. I just feel that its performers are extremely pure. It's very touching. For example, when they are performing, my tears just roll down my cheeks uncontrollably. I think they are very moving and very successful," said the lady who is a civil servant in China.

"I really hope DPA can one day be staged in mainland China. I realized that people in China particularly need to watch this show. Sometimes when I ask youngsters in China, 'What do you guys believe in? Do you believe in Buddhas? Believe in gods?' they say, 'We don't believe in anything. We believe in ourselves.' I think this mentality is very dangerous. If this goes on, society will have no hope.

"In our Chinese culture, which was divinely-imparted and is five-millennia-old, regardless of what dynasty, from the Yellow Emperor to royal court officials, everybody believed in divine beings. It was perfectly justified. Yet nowadays in China if you say that you believe in gods or Buddhas, people will make fun of you and say, 'You are superstitious. You are idealistic.' So I think China's mentality is upside down and distorted. I don't know how to say this, but if there were people like those DPA performers in China, then China would have a lot of hope and would gradually become better."

This lady was particularly touched by the program "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution," which tells the story of a father who is persecuted to death by the Chinese Communist Party police for his belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the principles of Falun Dafa, a traditional spiritual discipline.

"A particular program I loved was 'Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution.' I believe that the oppression of Falun Dafa exists in China for sure, because I have a few friends who practice it. Their everyday lives are monitored, including eavesdropping of their phone lines, especially on some sensitive days, such as during the Olympics and the Straits Exchange Foundation. Sometimes they even force the practitioners to write statements and so on."

She said that she would continue to fly overseas to see DPA until the day it comes to China
