(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Dodhia, managing director of a software company, was very impressed as Divine Performing Arts (DPA) once again swept the stage at the New London Theatre on March 4. Enthusiastic Londoners in the packed house showed their approval with long standing ovations.

"It's the very first time I've watched this show. I've seen many other shows, but this one kept my interest! It kept me going all the way through. Very good! Very interesting!"

He added that he was very impressed with the obvious dedication and work that went into each program. "The amount of effort, the training, and the practice that must have gone into it is incredible! I can't believe that a cast of over 100 performed so well together, so I think that it was a great achievement."

"It was an unexpected pleasure"

Mr. and Mrs. Brown were also quite delighted to be in attendance at the performance. "It was excellent, it was wonderful, wonderful! There was so much vibrancy about all the dancing. It was great! ... I knew nothing about it," said Mrs. Brown explaining that the tickets to the show were her surprise birthday present. She appreciated the performance so much she is hoping it will return next year so that she can take her daughter.

Mr. Brown, OBE, agreed with his wife. "It was an unexpected pleasure--we didn't know what to expect."

Highly recommended

This was the first time Mr. and Mrs. Thorpe had ever attended a DPA performance, and they were both highly impressed.

Mr. Thorpe, director of engineering company, shared his delight, saying, "It's the first time we have seen this company and we liked what we saw very much. Very different dancing from what we are used to, but [there were] very nice costumes, nice choreography, and nice music. Very good and very different!"

Mrs. Thorpe said she appreciated the live orchestra, which is a mix of Western and traditional Chinese instruments, saying, "The conductor was absolutely superb."

Mrs. Thorpe felt there was so much to see and hear in each program. She said, "It makes you pay attention--maximal attention--to every single piece, to observe everything, and to take in everything as much as you possibly can. Definitely highly recommended."

Pianist: "The music is haunting"

Ms. Hensor, a pianist and piano teacher from Sussex, loved the show so much last year that she returned. "It was wonderful, wonderful! I loved the music, the mix of East and West. I especially loved the erhu [the two-stringed instrument played with a bow]. Its music is very haunting. She is obviously a master of this instrument, a virtuoso."

She added, "I loved the dancers. I especially loved the dances that tell a story, that put across a message, which they do very powerfully, very powerfully! I came to the show last year. ... I feel the message is very important to get across to people."
