(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, several practitioners in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, were arrested. On the morning of August 1, officers from the Huangchaling Police Station in Hengyang City took Ms. Yang Liangkun and Zhou Lijun out of the jail, claiming that they needed the practitioners to identify some seized items. Ms. Yang's family members followed them, but the police said that they would take the two home later and told the family members to go home and wait. After arriving home, the family members realized that they had been deceived. When they called the police, they were told that Ms. Yang and Zhou Lijun had already been taken to Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha City and Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, respectively.
Ms. Yang and Zhou Lijun are both over 60 years old. As a result of abuse in police custody, they had swollen faces and bloody bowel movements. Their rectums became infected, their blood pressure was very high, and their lives were in danger. Despite this, the police still took the two practitioners to forced labor camps. When they arrived at the forced labor camp, they were refused admittance because health was so poor that their lives were in danger. Not wanting to be blamed for causing their deaths, the police released them. Now both practitioners are at home but they are very weak.
On July 17, the police went to Ms. Liu's residence twice to arrest her but were unsuccessful because she was not there. On the night of July 20, they went to her workplace and found her. They interrogated Ms. Liu and asked her for her identification. When they found it along with some Dafa books in her drawer, they seized the books and arrested her.
On August 4, practitioners Ms. He Xiqiu and Liu Jianhong were taken out of jail by officers from the Jiangdong District Police Department. Handcuffed, Ms. He yelled, "Falun Dafa is good" and refused to get onto the car. The police then lifted her feet, pushed her head down, and thrust her into the car. Witnesses said that the two practitioners were driven away in the direction of Zhuzhou City and Changsha City. Their families did not receive any notification, and no one knows their whereabouts.
