(Clearwisdom.net) An article regarding the "Legal System Education Class" was recently published on xinhuanet.com. Xinhua is one of China's state-run media, a primary component of the CCP's vast and pervasive propaganda machine.

It reported that "Legal System Education Classes" are held in various areas throughout China to reform Falun Gong practitioners. The article repeated CCP propaganda against Falun Gong, attributing the words to Falun Gong practitioners. Although this article was written as an in-depth media report, it is actually just an article filled with lies and falsehood. However, astute readers able to see beyond the surface can discern the truth which the CCP tries to cover up.

Firstly, the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong now for over ten years. It has spared no expense in this persecution. But after all, it still needs its mouthpiece media agencies to slander Falun Gong. This alone shows the failure of the persecution.

At the beginning of the persecution in July 1999, the CCP claimed it would eliminate Falun Gong within three months, but more than ten years have passed and Falun Gong has spread to over a hundred countries in that time. Falun Gong practitioners inside China have set up truth clarification material sites all over the country to continuously spread the truth about Falun Gong. Falun Gong receives sympathy from inside and outside of China. The CCP's persecution has lost public support and can barely continue. This Xinhua article shows the strong vitality and influence of Falun Gong.

Many Chinese people have experienced political movements such as the "Movement Against the Right Wing" and the "Great Cultural Revolution." The format of the so-called "Legal System Education Class" resembles that of those political movements. During those periods, many of us were forced to attend "Education Class." In this kind of class, the citizen's personal freedom is taken away without any legal procedures. This report on the "Legal System Education Class" reveals how Chinese citizens' personal freedom in China is not protected, and much less so the freedoms of speech and belief.

In fact, the "Legal System Education Class" is not a class at all. It's brainwashing, pure and simple.

Anyone who is familiar with the CCP's history knows what the educational method of the "Legal System Education Class" is like. People are locked up in the class, forced to listen to the CCP's brainwashing rhetoric, and are then forced to be "reformed" against their will. In such classes, Falun Gong practitioners are forced to write three statements or "five statements" (a letter renouncing Falun Gong, a repentance letter, a guarantee letter, a letter slandering Falun Gong, a letter of determination, etc). Anyone who refuses to give in may be shocked with electric batons, beaten, deprived of sleep, physically punished, and tortured - often to death. Numerous deaths and disabilities have occurred in this kind of "class."

The CCP media like to publish false statistics to confuse the public. For example, in the political movement the "Great Leap Forward," it claimed that 10,000 jin [about 11,022 lbs] of crops were produced on a one-mu [0.17 acre] field. In the same manner, this recent report claims that 98% of Falun Gong practitioners are "reformed." What would this figure show even if it were true? In the past, many Chinese people had to say something against their wills under political pressure. Didn't Deng Xiaoping repeatedly promise that he will never overturn this case in the Great Culture Revolution? Didn't the daughter of Liu Shaoqi, Vice Chairman of China, and the daughter of He Long, a General of China "draw a line" between them and their fathers, criticizing their fathers? Those statements were made against their will under pressure. Doesn't this show the brutality of the persecutors? Many Falun Gong practitioners are tortured brutally in these classes just because the CCP wants to reach a certain rate of reform. It's so bloody behind this figure.

Every day there are many solemn declarations of Falun Gong practitioners published on the Clearwisdom website to declare that whatever they have done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa to be null and void. Since August 14, 2009, 410,000 people have taken risks to publish their solemn declarations using their real names on overseas media. The words of the interviewees under pressure in this report can not be compared with those solemn declarations. Isn't it obvious whose words we should believe?

In this report, the director of the so-called Anti-Cult Association boasts that the "Legal System Education Class" is a creative work of "community" and "association." Chinese resident communities are not communities in the same sense as known by those in Western countries. In the Western world, communities do not have a "Legal System Education Class" which violates human rights and brainwashes people using brutal methods. It's hard for those in free societies to imagine the existence of this "Legal System Education Class." There are many religious and spiritual beliefs in Western cultures. No one has the right to force others to go to an "Education Class" to change their beliefs.

Chinese people are able to think for themselves. Why does the CCP not dare to open China's internet blockade and let the Chinese people from Mainland China make their own determination of who is right and who is wrong? Does the CCP dare to allow those practitioners in the interviews to come to a free country and let them talk in that setting? If the CCP dares not, does this not show its guilty conscience?

Falun Gong has spread overseas to over one hundred countries. There are many Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan, which has the same Chinese cultural heritage. Yet, Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan live harmoniously in their local communities and have even been recognized many times by their local governments. In all the world, Falun Gong is persecuted only in China. Doesn't this show the nature of the CCP and of its media?

Although the report on Xinhua website is cleverly written, it nevertheless shows off the CCP's grotesque failures. The evil regime is foolish, and this article on Xinhua website is evidence of that.
