One time on a train, I gave a Shen Yun DVD to a man who switched seats with me. He gave me his cell phone number to keep in touch.
I called him later to ask what he thought about the Shen Yun performance. He told me, "It is very beautiful. I can understand the content--it carries a very powerful positive message." He asked," Do you have faith?" I said "Yes." He then observed, "I can feel you are different from others! When I asked you to switch seats with me on the train, you replied that 'helping others also helps myself.' That's how I knew you were different from others."
He continued, "I have seen the official news about Falun Gong, but I don't believe it. I used to have an accountant who practiced Falun Gong. He had a very good personality. I had another colleague who was also very nice. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was illegally arrested. She later died in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. It's been five years, and no one has ever been held accountable for her death. Lawyers are afraid to take her case."
When I heard this, I really wanted to cry. I am happy that this man understood the truth, but I mourn the death of the fellow practitioner.
Falun Dafa practitioners and their families face tremendous tribulations at the hands of the Chinese Communist regime. Practitioners need our help. There are also many people who do not know the truth and who need to be saved. We have a grand mission and a great responsibility.
