Four Cases of Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

The following are four instances of karmic retribution to officials who engaged in persecuting Falun Gong.

• Police Officer Li Dongye of Yizhou Town Police Station Died of Carcinoma of the Rectum

• Security Chief of Shunyiqu Village in Beijing Suffers Retribution

• Security Deputy Li Yabin of Kongjiaya Street Office Died Suddenly

• Officer Fang Yuan of Shuicheng Police Station, Jintang County, Sichuan Province, Died of Lung Cancer

Police Officer Li Dongye of Yizhou Town Police Station Died of Carcinoma of the Rectum

Police officer Li Dongye of the Yizhou Town Police Station, Yi County, Liaoning Province, was 55 years old. He worked at the Zhendong Police Station, Yizhou Town, which later merged with the Yizhou Town Police Station. In 2003, he worked at the Zhendong Police Station and directly participated in arresting Dafa practitioner Zhang Dianguo. On February 28, 2004, the eve of the so-called "Two Conferences" [the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Political Consultative Conference], the Yi County 610 Office and police stations made massive arrests of Dafa practitioners throughout the county. That evening, Li Dongye participated in the arrest of Ms. Zhou Dexiang, Mr. Chen Wenli and Mr. Shi Changlin from their homes. During the day, he also arrested six Dafa practitioners in Jiudaoling Town. In the afternoon of March 4, 2004, he again arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Ying in Duicheng Town. When Li Dongye arrested Dafa practitioners, many times he ransacked their homes and stole their personal property.

In April 2009, Li Dongye was diagnosed with carcinoma of the rectum. He stayed in Jingzhou Hospital, Liaoning Province, until he died on December 26.

Security Chief of Shunyiqu Village in Beijing Suffers Retribution

Ex-security chief Zhou Xingcai of Dongyantou Village, Mulin Town, Shunyi District, Beijing, faithfully executed Chinese Communist Party (CCP) orders in the persecution of Falun Gong. He led police officers to break into and ransack Falun Gong practitioners' homes many times, and arrested practitioners. His actions resulted in great losses to Dafa, practitioners and their families.

In late autumn 2009, Zhou again bribed village cadres because he wanted to get into the village committee to become an officer. He suddenly suffered a stroke and became paralyzed and bedridden. He could not eat or drink, and had to rely on a feeding tube. He spent nearly 30,000 yuan in hospital costs and did not get any better. Zhou's illness is getting worse and worse, and no hospital in Beijing is willing to take him.

Security Deputy Li Yabin of Kongjiaya Street Office Died Suddenly

On December 25, 2009, Friday, Li Yabin went out to have a drink and dinner with his colleagues after work. They chatted until 11:00 p.m.. While all the others went home, he slept in his office at work. On Monday December 28, his colleagues found Li Yabin dead in his office.

Li Yabin was 49 years old. Since the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong in 1999, he took every lead and actively coordinated with CCP officers to detain, fine, imprison, send to force labor camps, and brainwash Falun Gong practitioners in his organization. He even persecuted Falun Gong practitioners who were his colleagues.

Officer Fang Yuan of Shuicheng Police Station, Jintang County, Sichuan Province, Died of Lung Cancer

Fang Yuan, in his fifties, was an officer at the Shuicheng Police Station, Jintang County. Since Jiang Zemin's camp started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Fang was repeatedly in league with officers from the Shuicheng Police Station, arresting Dafa practitioners and ransacking their homes. He also insulted female Dafa practitioners with vicious, crude language. Dafa practitioners compassionately and kindly clarified the truth to him, but he did not listen and insisted on acting as an accomplice to the CCP.

In Early September 2009, Fang Yuan died of lung cancer.
