(Clearwisdom.net) The day before yesterday, I heard a story from a fellow practitioner. He recently had a very realistic dream in which Teacher came to him and said to him, "You should go with a certain person and bring back 600 former fellow practitioners." The practitioner did not know any practitioner with the name mentioned in his dream and was anxious about where to find him or her. The next day when he went out to clarify the truth, a young man came up to him and helped him. The practitioner murmured to himself, "Everyone has their own unique way of cultivation." The young man responded, "But everyone is in the Dafa." The practitioner said to him, "So you are also a Falun Gong practitioner. May I know your name?" The practitioner was very happy to hear he was exactly the person that Teacher had asked him to find, so he said, "Teacher asked us to go together to find our former fellow practitioners." Some time later, the fellow practitioner bought a motorcycle and they went together to another county that Teacher had mentioned in the dream. Things went so well that they found 400 to 500 fellow practitioners in only a few days. The practitioner thought, "I haven't finished my task because the total number of fellow practitioners has not reached the 600 Teacher mentioned."That night he had a dream in which Teacher told him that he do not need to find the other 100 fellow practitioners anymore, because they had already come back to cultivation in Dafa by themselves.
Teacher cherishes us. He cherishes us even more than we cherish ourselves. Before July 20, 1999, he elevated all Dafa practitioners to their highest level. He does not acknowledge the destructive test arranged by the old forces for practitioners, but some fellow practitioners feared the evil so much that they gave up their cultivation. I felt very sorry for them whenever I saw them in such a state. One of my former fellow practitioners was so terrified that she gave up Falun Gong and resorted to Buddhism. When I went to see her in 2000, she said to me with tears in her eyes, "I am wrong, I know. Someone who had been arrested told me when he came back, 'They do not treat you as a human being and slap you with both hands so violently that you feel dizzy and your cheeks became badly swollen. They will not let you speak but will beat you like hell.' I am afraid of this, I am really afraid of this." Her fear, sadness, and helplessness pains my heart even now.
In 2005 I talked with her again to ask her to practice Falun Gong again. She said, "Now I am cultivating in Buddhism, and I will not come back to Falun Gong again. I could not keep up with the cultivation even if I picked it up again." I said to her, "Teacher has said that you will have the chance to cultivate in Dafa as long as the Fa-rectification has not ended. Dafa is so precious."She looked so helpless, sad, and desperate. In 2007, I went to talk with her again, "You cannot leave Dafa." She said promptly, "Have I left Dafa? No! I have just found a place to escape, because I may be arrested, beaten, and even killed for practicing Falun Gong." I challenged her, "You go to Buddhist temples every day. Doesn't that mean that you have given up Falun Gong?" Seeing the grief and bitterness deep in her mind, I thought, "Let me give her a hand. Back when the persecution of Falun Gong started, didn't we have the same timidness? We also have done wrong things. She left Dafa not out of her own will but because of the evil's coercion. Teacher told us to bring them back, so let us act soon. With strong righteous thoughts we will do well what we should do, and that is what Teacher has taught us."
