(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Hebei Province) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liang Xiulan has been arrested by Chinese Communist Party agents several times. She has been brutally tortured and was once carried to court for trial while unconscious. She was later released and sent home, as she appeared to be on the verge of death. Four months later she was arrested again, and has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

At around 8:00 p.m. on May 21, 2008, Ms. Liang and seven other practitioners were passing out truth clarifying materials. They were reported at 11:00 p.m., and arrested by Qian'an City Domestic Security agents. Ms. Liang's home was ransacked on May 23, and on June 11, 2008 she was bailed out.

On April 2, 2009, Ms. Liang was detained for four hours, and her home was ransacked. The police shocked her private parts with electric batons. This incident took place after Ms. Liang revealed the persecution she was subjected to.

On September 11, 2009 after having lunch, Ms. Liang Xiulan went downstairs from her apartment and was about to start her motorcycle, when suddenly a car stopped next to her. Policemen got out and forced her into their car.

Several days later, her mother and daughter went to the police department to request her release. The police chased them out and cursed them. They went again a few days later, but were turned away. On September 20, 2009, Ms. Liang's mother and brother went to give her winter clothes. The detention center guards refused the clothes and did not allow them to see her, but took 2,000 yuan in cash.

Ms. Liang's husband is a stroke patient and needs care. Her daughter is a college student who lives out of town.

On December 3, 2009, Ms. Liang was secretly sentenced to eight years in prison, and she is currently held in the Qian'an City Detention Center.
