(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Chen Ling Arrested
Ms. Chen Ling works at the Mawangmiao Shenyi Factory in Sanqiao, Guiyang City. On September 13, 2010, she was reported to the police and arrested while she was talking to people about Falun Gong in Dawa. She was detained in the Jinhui Police Station and her home was ransacked. On the morning of September 14, 2010, she was sent to the Baihuashan Detention Center.
2. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Haidong on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
Mr. Li Haidong, from Zunhua, is being detained in the First Division of the Jidong Prison. Since September 7, 2010, he has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

3. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Yunhua and Other Practitioners Persecuted
Ms. Ma Yunhua, 60, was a former employee of the Northwest Second Light Industry Company. She was dismissed from her job because she practices Falun Gong and she has been persecuted in labor camps and prisons for more than nine years. On June 29, 2010, Ms. Ma was reported to the police by guards while distributing Falun Gong materials. As a result, she was forced to flee, becoming homeless and destitute, in order to avoid being arrested at home. Her home was also ransacked and the police took away Dafa books.
Ms. Li Hua, 50 years old, is a retired employee of the Power Capacitor Factory. On August 25, 2010, she was reported to the police and taken to a police station while she was talking to people about Falun Gong. The Falun Gong materials she carried were confiscated. Later on, Ms. Li managed to escape from the police station. She has since become homeless to avoid the police.
Ms. Ma Yunjing, 73 years old, is a retired employee of the Power Capacitor Factory. She is Ms. Li Hua's mother and Ms. Ma Yunhua's sister. On September 3, 2010, she was picked up by the police while on her way back from shopping. Her whereabouts are unknown at this time.
4. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Suifang Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Ma Suifang, about 55 years old, was reported to police and arrested while she was talking to people about Falun Gong in Lantian. She had been detained in the Xian Detention Center for 15 days. On the night of September 13, 2010, Li Zhanjun, from the Changlezhonglu Police Station and Zhao Baozhu, from the Wannianlu Neighborhood Office, led about 30 people to break into Ms. Ma's home and take her to the Xian Brainwashing Center.

5. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Lingping Arrested
Ms. Wang Lingping was found to be carrying several copies of Falun Gong materials when she was visiting Zhangjiajie. As a result, she was arrested and is now being detained in the Zhangjiajie Detention Center.
The Zhangjiajie police have informed the Yongzhou 610 Office, and the company Ms. Wang works for, that they would ransack her home on the night of September 19, 2010. Books and her personal computer were taken away.

6. [Yanling County, Henan Province] Ms. Yin Hongxi Arrested
Ms. Yin Hongxi was taken away from her home by police around September 15, 2010. Now she is being detained in the Yanling Detention Center.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Maozhen Arrested
Ms. Chen Maozhen, 79 years old, was taken away from her home by three policemen on the afternoon of September 16, 2010.
8. [Changting County, Fujian Province] Mr. Dai Sanlian Arrested
On September 19, 2010, Mr. Dai Sanlian was taken away by police from the Zhuotian Town Police Station in Changting County, while he was talking to people about Falun Gong on the street. Now he is being detained in the Changting Detention Center.

9. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Additional Information about Arrest of Ms. Han Yunying
At 10 am on September 16, 2010, Ms. Han Yunying was arrested by officers from the Dehui Domestic Security Team. Now she is being detained in the Dehui Detention Center.
10. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Chu Jingyuan Persecuted at the Third Division of Hulan Prison
Mr. Chu Jingyuan is being detained in the Third Division of the Hulan Prison. A few days ago, a guard saw him reading Falun Dafa books. Now he is being confined in a small cell.

11. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Qi Jie Arrested
At noon on September 20, 2010, Ms. Qi Jie was reported to the police and arrested while she was distributing Falun Gong materials in the New Railroad District in Pingliang. That afternoon, the police went to ransack her home and took away some Falun Gong materials. Now she is being detained in the Domestic Security Team of Pingliang Police Department.
12. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Ms. Ju Chaohong Arrested
On the afternoon of September 14, 2010, Ms. Ju Chaohong, in her 40s, was reported to police while she was talking to an elderly man about Falun Gong on the way to her in-laws' home. She was taken away by Ke Guojun and other officers from the Meichuan Police Station and then sent to the Wuxue Detention Center.
On September 16, 2010, Ms. Ju did not wear the prison uniform because she believed that she hadn't broken the law. Guards Dong Zhiqiang, Zhang Yong and Zhang Zaibin cuffed her hands and feet to a bed for the whole afternoon. Since that day, Ms. Ju has been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
