(Clearwisdom.net) I recently wanted to buy a DVD burner. I researched several DVD writers and controllers on the Tiandi blogs, then asked a fellow practitioner who specialized in computer equipment to buy one for me. When I received the device, I felt uneasy because it wasn't one of the recommended machines I'd researched. I wondered if it would work well, considering it wasn't a recommended machine.
Sure enough, there were all sorts of small problems from the beginning. I spent several days working on it, and dozens of discs were damaged. I sent righteous thoughts to the device, but that didn't help. Later, the machine simply didn't work or even power-up. How could this happen?
I didn't understand at the time; I was focused on the machine. Later, I thought that the machine couldn't be saved and wanted to return it. I would rather not keep it, even if I wasted several hundred yuan. Actually, Teacher gave me a hint to look inward, and the illusion of a non-working machine disappeared.

All sorts of human concepts form in our minds and are very stubborn. Although we've studied the Fa a lot and have a good understanding of the Fa, we don't make the connection when we encounter problems. We always use human concepts, but the human being is incapable. Only the Fa can do anything.
Teacher accomplishes everything. Without the Fa, we can't do anything. On reflection, what did we look like when we started practicing and were full of karma? Yet, Teacher saved us out of compassion. How could we not be benevolent to our tools that are made for the Fa? Although they were made with materials from the old universe, we want them to harmonize Dafa from the old formation-stasis-degeneration-destruction principle of the old universe. We want them to become new, harmonized lives without destruction in the new universe and truly become Dafa practitioners' Fa-instruments to save sentient beings.
I changed my attitude after studying the Fa, and the DVD burner, which was completely useless in everyday people's eyes, magically recovered and now works just fine, with Teacher's help.
