(Clearwisdom.net) Most of the practitioners in our region obtained the Fa before July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, but some have only recently joined our Fa study groups and began doing the three things. We now have a dozen Fa study groups and have formed a small network of practitioners who independently download, print, and distribute materials to inform people about the persecution of Falun Gong and to help save them.
We didn't actively participate in the six previous Internet Cultivation Experience Sharing Conferences, as we thought that we hadn't done well in our cultivation, and believed that we didn't have much to share. We also needed practitioners from other areas to come here and help us type our articles. As a result, not many local practitioners submitted experience sharing articles. When we read the notice on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) calling for articles for the Seventh Internet Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference, the local practitioners discussed what we should do. After reading several experience sharing articles, such as "We Should All Attend the Internet Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference," we downloaded them and distributed them for practitioners to discuss in our Fa-study groups. Most practitioners came to understand that having an experience sharing conference is part of the cultivation process that Master created for us. Attending the conference is also for us to join as one body and strive forward diligently together.
The local practitioners then started preparing their own experience sharing articles. Some wrote the articles themselves by hand, some narrated their experiences, and others had it recorded. Some articles have over 4000 words, and some have only one or two hundred. One elderly couple who are farmers wrote more than 100 words by themselves. It wasn't many words, but it was very touching.
When we type the articles for the older practitioners, some of their stories are so moving that the practitioners shed tears while typing. For example, in an elderly farmer's article, he said that he started working on the farm as soon as he finished elementary school and that he could not read many words. When he first started practicing he couldn't read Zhuan Falun, so he listened to Master's lectures. He said he often cried while listening. With Master's help, he can now read Zhuan Falun and all the other Dafa books very fluently. Another example is a couple in their eighties. If they didn't write their sharing article, no one would have known the huge amount of work they have done quietly over the past ten years to help save sentient beings.
When the practitioners finished their articles and brought them to group Fa study to share with fellow practitioners, some of us were so touched by how they had become more diligent and mature in cultivation, and we were very happy for them. When practitioners shared experiences that had not gone so well, we looked within ourselves to see if we have the same problems, and used the sharing to move forward in our own cultivation.
The practitioners in our region have realized that writing experience sharing articles has indeed helped us to find many shortcomings, and we now truly understand what it means to catch up with the progress of Fa-rectification and become true Dafa practitioners.
