(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, a big wave of arrests and persecution incidents targeting Falun Gong practitioners around Hebei Province took place. Dozens of practitioners were arrested in the Baoding area alone, and over one hundred families were harassed. Some practitioners were followed by government officials, while others were being monitored outside their homes. Some practitioners were forced to fill out forms and provide written assurances, and some Fa study groups were broken up by authorities. Evidence of brainwashing center preparation was also observed recently in some areas.
Facing these problems, some local practitioners suggested that everyone look inward, identify their own problems, send righteous thoughts, and eliminate all evil forces and factors that persecute Dafa practitioners. Many practitioners persisted in sending righteous thoughts from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. every night - a powerful way to eliminate evil forces. Yet there were still some practitioners who didn't pay attention, or didn't continue doing well.
In "Be More Diligent," Teacher said:
"The truth is, no person's viewpoint is perfect, nor is any one person's idea flawlessly brilliant. On critical things, when someone raises some issue or tries to resolve some problem, or offers suggestions for improvement, as long as we feel his starting point is sound, and that the things to be done are generally correct, we should actively support it."
"However, if you are focused on the superficial, ordinary human things, then you are attached and are using human thinking. Don't give weight to such things. If you can manage to quietly complete what you notice is lacking, quietly do well what you should do, and quietly do something well when you find it to have been done less than ideally, then the multitude of gods will have tremendous admiration for you and exclaim that this person is simply extraordinary. Only doing things this way counts as what a Dafa disciple should do. So, this is one aspect. As Dafa disciples, then, any time cooperation is needed and yet arguments persist, or people are arguing without coming to a decision, you need to go about things in the manner I've discussed. And doing so, the evil will have no way to interfere."
The fact that persecution appeared in Hebei Province actually has something to do with all Hebei practitioners, and we cannot count ourselves out. We can't always passively accept the persecution forced upon us. We should actively eliminate the evil forces, truly pay attention to sending righteous thoughts, and use our hearts to harmonize our big group. Of course, we can decide the actual time depending on our practical situations. The time can be from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., or 9:00 to 10:00 p.m., or 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Regardless, we should make good use of all our available time, and do our best to continue sending righteous thoughts over long periods of time. The key is to use our hearts, truly have peaceful minds, and understand that it is our own responsibility to eliminate the interference and persecution. In this way, we can form an indestructible group in other dimensions, and eliminate the evil forces more powerfully.
Teacher said:
"Let me tell you, all those who remain and that can persecute Dafa and Dafa disciples are due to our students themselves. Students who haven't taken sending righteous thoughts seriously: the evil in the dimensions that you are supposed to shoulder and be responsible for has not been eliminated. That's the cause. So you must take sending righteous thoughts seriously. No matter whether you think you have the ability or not, you should do it. What you eliminate from your own mind are ones which have an effect within the expanse of your own body; at the same time, you need to eliminate the external ones, which are directly related to the dimensions you're in. If you don't eliminate them, then they not only persecute you and restrain you, but also persecute other students, other Dafa disciples." (from "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.")
In "Fa Teaching at the 2009 Greater New York International Fa Conference" Master said:
"My Dafa disciples... you are distributed over a large expanse (gesturing), and you are each now responsible for your respective area of this world. Changes in your thinking can lead to changes in your surrounding environment. How the people in your region are is a result of the extent to which you have clarified the truth to them. The environment is shaped by your human attachments. When the environment is bad, it is because you made it that way."
Therefore, we should continue looking inward with peaceful minds, make every thought righteous, and truly perform what Master wants without reservation. The Dafa practitioners in Hebei Province surround Beijing, which corresponds to the base camp of evil forces in other dimensions. We have the convenient condition of sending righteous thoughts from a short distance. Given that the evil forces are right in front of us, we should work to eliminate them until they are completely extinguished.
