1. [Tianjin City] Three Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested at Dagang Oil Field
At 8:00 p.m. on October 21, 2010, three practitioners from Dagang Oil Field in Tianjin--Ms. Bai Li, Ms. Zhang Qiuyun, and Ms. Zhou Yuxin--went to the business district to tell people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. Someone reported them to the authorities. They were arrested and taken to the Dagang District Detention Center.

2. [Baojing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Xu Zuoyou Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Xu Zuoyou, 42, is a doctor at the People's Hospital in Baojing, Hunan Province. On October 15, 2010, staff from the Baojing County 610 Office seized Mr. Xu and took him to the Huaihua City Brainwashing Center to try to make him relinquish the practice of Falun Gong.
Since the persecution began in 1999, Mr. Xu has been detained many times, and his house has been searched. He was twice taken to a psychiatric hospital and tortured, and was once put in a forced labor camp. While in the forced labor camp, he was severely injured due to the brutal tortures he suffered. He was later diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, his eyesight deteriorated, and his chest, abdomen, and limbs became stiff and numb. He could not walk nor take care of himself, and he had a hard time breathing. In March 2005, he was released for medical reasons.

3. [Wenshan County, Yunnan Province] Mr. Zhu Yong Arrested
Mr. Zhu Yong from Wenshan County, 40, was previously a police officer at the Wenshan Prefecture Public Security Bureau. At 10:00 p.m. on September 26, 2010, Zhu Yajun and Luo Shengguo from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Wenshan Prefecture Public Security Bureau arrested Mr. Zhu in his home. They beat Mr. Zhu and took his computer and printer. Mr. Zhu is now in the Wenshan County Detention Center.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Meihong Arrested
In the afternoon of October 21, 2010, officers from the Laixi Public Security Bureau 610 Office and the Meihuashan Police Station arrested Ms. Jiang Meihong in Houche Village, Laixi City, Qingdao. The officers searched her house and confiscated two computers, two printers, a CD burner, Falun Dafa books, and a satellite dish.
5. [Huaian City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jin Xue Illegally Detained
Ms. Jin Xue was working in Huafeng, Huaian at 9:00 a.m. on October 19, 2010, when three plainclothes police officers arrested her. The same day these officers searched her house and confiscated her MP5 player and Falun Dafa materials. Ms. Jin is now in the Huaian City Detention Center.
Ms. Jin is in her 40s. Back in 2008, Chang Shulin and other officers from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Qinghe District Public Security Bureau in Huaian arrested her and detained her for 15 days because she practiced Falun Gong.
6. [Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province] Officers from Leiyan Police Station Arrest Four Practitioners
In October 2010, officers from the Leiyan Police Station in Hailun City arrested Ms. Liu Guixia, Ms. Wang Yarong, and two other practitioners when they were distributing Falun Dafa materials.

7. [Xintian County, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Chen Xiuju, Ms. Gu Jiuju, and Ms. Lai Tumei from Xintian County were arrested on October 20, 2010, and taken to the Guiyang County Detention Center. On the morning of October 21, Jiang Xianju, from the Xintian County 610 Office, along with Deng Guobin from the Chengdong Police Station, went to the three practitioners' homes and conducted illegal searches.

8. [E'lunchunqi, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Jiang Weizhong Arrested
On the evening of October 17, 2010, Zhang Weimin and four other police officers from Alihe Town Domestic Security and Ganhe Town arrested Mr. Jiang Weizhong in his home in Ganhe Town, Elunchunqi. They later searched Mr. Zhang Youtian's home.
9. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Yongru Taken to the Xiaocun Township Brainwashing Center
Mr. Li Yongru is in his 40s and lives in Bailou Village, Xianyu Town, Dingxing County. At 10:00 a.m. on October 14, 2010, officers from the Xianyu Police Station and staff from the Xianyu Town Hall took Mr. Li to the Xiaocun Township Brainwashing Center
10. [Chongqing City] Mr. Liu Zhengliang Arrested
The police arrested and locked up Mr. Liu Zhengliang from Bicheng Town, Bishan County, on October 22, 2010.
11. [Shanghai City] Ms. Gao Chunfang Arrested
At 9:00 a.m. on October 22, 2010, eight people broke into Ms. Gao Chunfang's house and took her to a police station on Wande Road in the Pudong District. These people took away her Falun Dafa books and computer.
12. [Dongguan City, Guangdong Province] More Details on Ms. Yan Zhen's Arrest
Sometime around October 20, 2010, the police arrested Ms. Yao Zhen at her apartment in the Bubugao Community, the Guancheng District, Dongguan City. Ms. Yao is now in a detention center.
13. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Huang Jinchun Arrested
Ms. Huang Jinchun from Beihai City was arrested at 9:00 a.m. on October 22, 2010. Her whereabouts are still unknown.
14. [Tonghua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Guixiang Arrested
On the afternoon of October 22, 2010, 12 officers from Tonghua City Public Security Bureau, Guangming Police Station, and the 610 Office broke into Ms. Song Guixiang's house. The police arrested Ms. Song, her husband, and her son; took them to the Guangming Police Station; and beat them. The police confiscated the family's laptop computer, DVD player, radio, other valuable goods, and 9000 yuan (US$1300) cash.
On October 23, Ms. Song's son was released. However, she and her husband were admitted to the Changliu Detention Center.
15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Chunyu Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wu Chunyu was arrested and locked in the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center in Jianghan District.
16. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Kang Taipeng Arrested
At 11:00 a.m. on October 21, 2010, officers from Beiyuan Police Station arrested Mr. Kang Taipeng (in his 30s) from Fuxin City and took him to the Xindi Detention Center in Fuxin.
