(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 15 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 36 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Guixia and Ms. Wang Yarong Taken Away
Ms. Liu Guixia and Ms. Wang Yarong were taken away by officers from the Leiyan Police Station while distributing Falun Gong materials. Zhang Xiaochun, the deputy director of the Hailun Police Department who is in charge of the 610 Office, sentenced them both to forced labor. The two practitioners have been recently sent to the Shuihua Area.

2. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Jie Arrested
At about 10 a.m. on October 28, 2010, Ms. Li Jie, in her 40s, was seized from her home by more than 10 officers from the Dongxing Police Station in the Mingshan District. The police also ransacked her home and took Dafa books and Falun Gong materials. She is being detained in the Dongxing Police Station.Ms. Liu Chunfang from Benxi was also arrested.

On October 28, 2010, the police rushed into the home of Mr. Wen Qianyou from Beitai and ransacked it. Mr. Wen was taken away.

It is known that 18 Falun Gong practitioners have been taken away by the Jinzhou police and Domestic Security Officers. The practitioners are being held in the Jinzhou Detention Center.

5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Elderly Ms. Gao Taken into Custody
On October 22, 2010, Ms. Gao, in her 70s, was taken into custody for distributing Falun Gong materials. She is being detained in the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City.
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Chunqing Illegally Sentenced
On October 12, 2010, the Nangang District Court illegally sentenced Ms. Li Chunqing to five years in prison. On October 27, 2010, she was sent to the Harbin Women's Prison. On October 28, 2010, her blood pressure reached 170 and she was sent to the Second Hospital of the Harbin First Medical University for a physical.
7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Aijun and Other Practitioners Repeatedly Persecuted
On July 27, 2009, officers from the Songshan Police Station arrested Mr. Li Aijun and Ms. Wang Sumei. The two practitioners were held in the Jinzhou Detention Center for 15 days. They were also had about 10,000 yuan extorted from them.
In April 2010, the Songshan police again broke into the home of Mr. Li. They arrested him and his wife, Ms. Yu Jinghua. The couple was held in the Jizhou Detention Center for 10 days. Later on, the police went to Mr. Li's home and harassed the couple many times. The couple was forced to leave home to avoid arrest.
At 11 p.m. on October 26, 2010, the police rushed into Mr. Li's home again. At the time, Mr. Li was not at home. The police took his wife to the Songshan Police Station and confiscated about 6000 yuan in cash that she carried. Later on, her family had about 8000 yuan extorted from them. Ms. Yu Jinghua is to be detained for 15 days.

The police ransacked her home and took her computer, a printer, a DVD burner, Falun Gong materials, and cash. She is being detained in the Pingshan Police Station.
10. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Hongli Arrested
On October 24, 2010, Ms. Zhang Hongli was arrest. The police ransacked her home and took away a desktop computer. Now her whereabouts are unknown.
11. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Mr. Shi Junping and Mr. Hao Haifeng Taken into Custody
On October 15, 2010, Mr. Shi Junping and Mr. Hao Haifeng were reported to police while talking to people about Falun Gong in the Weixiannan Market. They were taken into custody by the Domestic Security officers in Wei County.
Mr. Shi Junping was released after his family handed over 2000 yuan.
12. [Jimo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Ruiyu Seized
On October 26, 2010, Ms. Liu Ruiyu, in her 60s and from Daxing Town, Jimo, was taken seized while she was posting Falun Gong self-adhesive posters. She is being detained in the Jimo Detention Center.

On October 26, 2010, Ms. Peng Cuiwei was picked up by officers from the Tuanchengshan Police Station in Huangshi. She is being held in the Baguozui Detention Center in Huangshi.
14. [Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Fengling Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Fengling, 59, works in the Xiangfan 609 Institute. On the evening of October 19, 2010, she was taken away from her home by officers from the Xiangfan 610 Office. She is being detained in the Wuhan Brainwashing Center.
15. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Shujin Arrested
On October 25, 2010, Ms. He Shujin was arrested by the local police. Her home was also ransacked. The police took her computer, a printer, Falun Dafa books, etc.
