Solemn Declaration
I went back to China for an old colleague's reunion last year, and I was reported to the authorities for distributing Shen Yun DVDs at the party. I was monitored and followed after the party and arrested by the Security Bureau two days prior to my departure. Because of my poor cultivation, I signed the statements guaranteeing "to stop distributing Shen Yun DVDs, report to the Bureau on significant events, and notify them in advance of my return." After repeatedly studying the "Fa" and looking inward, I found that I had attachments to fear, the showoff mentality, zealotry, comfort, jealousy, poor speech, and sentimentality. I solemnly declare: Any statement I signed which conformed to the evil is null and void. I'll completely negate all arrangements of the old forces. I'll do the three things well, and keep up with Master's Fa-rectification progress.

Solemn Declaration
I appealed in Beijing after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, and I was illegally arrested, taken to a brainwashing center, and sent to a forced labor camp. During the detention period, I signed the three statements and defamed Master and Dafa. I solemnly declare: Any thing I have done that is not in line with the Dafa principles is void and null. I'll work hard to make up for the damage I caused to Dafa. I'll do the three things well, and steadfastly practice cultivation to the end.
