(Clearwisdom.net) One day when I was unloading corn during the autumn harvest this year, a passersby from a neighboring village came to chat with me. I unloaded the corn as we talked. Since it was getting ready to rain, I was rushing to finish my task. The person could see that I was very busy so he left.
After he left, I realized that I forgot to clarify the truth to save him because I cared only about my immediate task. This person had a brain tumor. What if I missed the opportunity and something happened to him. Had I done my duty? When I considered all of this, I stopped what I was doing and quickly walked a few steps to catch up with him. I said, "I was selfish. I cared only about unloading the corn and forgot to tell you a most important thing."
He responded, "What is this important thing?"
I told him that it was that a human chooses his own future. Then I told him about the well-known rock formation that had the characters "Death to the CCP" mysteriously carved into it. I told him that since the CCP came to power, it has not allowed the Chinese people to believe in the existence of Gods and Buddhas. It has only deceived people with its lies. This evil CCP is dedicated to political campaigns that have killed tens of millions of our citizens. Its essence is to oppose Heaven, earth, and humanity. Its perverse acts have caused regularly-occurring disasters in China. Heaven is going to eliminate the CCP. All those who participate in the evil Party should hurry to withdraw from it quickly, or they will be eliminated along with the Party.
After he heard me out, the person smiled and said, "I have heard so many new things. I participated in the Party and now I want to withdraw from it using my real name. Thank you for telling me these wonderful principles. Thank Falun Dafa and your Master for saving me. I sincerely say one sentence from the bottom of my heart: 'Falun Dafa is good and all practitioners are nice people.'"
I told him to sincerely repeat in his heart "Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" so that he would be blessed, so that his pain might lessen, and so that he might even recover from his tumor.
He said, "I have met a noble person. I believe all you have said, and I will recite the nine characters." The girl who was with him and his relative also withdrew from the Party after she understood the truth.
It only took about ten minutes to clarify the truth to the two predestined people and help them withdraw from the CCP. I really don't know if there would have been an opportunity like that again to clarify the truth to them. It was really an opportune moment.
After I clarified the truth to them, I searched inward while I continued my work. Master sent these two predestined people for me to save, but I was busy at my farm job and almost missed the opportunity to save them. I always have tomorrow to unload the corn. There is always a sunny day to unload the corn if it rains today. However, if I missed the precious opportunity to save people, it would be serious dereliction of duty as a Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period. This incident revealed that I still haven't totally abandoned the attachment of selfishness. The attachment still controls me from time to time. During my daily activities, I sometimes miss the opportunity to clarify the truth and that is due to my attachment of selfishness. I feel so ashamed about this since Master has suffered to save me.
We could find the attachments that we haven't yet removed from everything we do during our cultivation. When we find gaps, we can constantly improve ourselves and go beyond the realm of selflessness to altruism and assimilate to Dafa.
