(Clearwisdom.net) Using supernatural powers to clean up the field around oneself is actually eliminating evil forces. A cultivator using supernatural powers cannot base his or her actions on what is observed with the eyes. Actually, supernatural power is there when the thought is there. The relative effect of a supernatural power depends on the starting point and purity of the thought. With a righteous starting point and pure thought, great divine power can be exercised, shaking heaven and earth, and it is omnipotent.

A fellow practitioner told me a story. On one occasion, an elderly practitioner was distributing truth-clarification materials, when a person saw the practitioner and intended to report the practitioner. The practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts, then left quickly. The person followed relentlessly. Just then, the practitioner had a thought: "I am a divine being. You are human. How can a human catch up with a divine being?" With that thought, the person was left far behind. Why did this happen? I enlightened that the practitioner actually used divine power with righteous thoughts.

By studying Teacher's lectures from around the world, I understood that only by studying theFa well, can one have righteous thoughts, and set oneself on the right path. We should use the Fa to calibrate our thoughts. When we find that our thoughts are not right or not assimilating to the Fa, then we should clean our field and environment, negate the old forces' arrangements, and look inward. Then, we will gradually have less distracting thoughts. Only when we do the three things well, can we walk every step well, catch up with the Fa-rectification progress, and return home with Teacher. Now I have a deeper understanding of the power of Falun Dafa. Only true compassion can resolve poor predestined relationships and interference. We should be worthy of Teacher's suffering to compassionately save us, and live up to Dafa practitioners' mission! I thank compassionate and great Teacher.

This is my current understanding. I welcome fellow practitioners' comments.
