Mr. Fastook talked about his experience of the show, saying, "I was captivated throughout the entire performance. I liked the variety of the performances; I liked the music between the dances."

He particularly appreciated the exactness of the dancers, musicians, and performers, saying, "[It was] just very, very well staged, very well orchestrated. Precise. The precision, I think, was just incredible."

He continued, "I think one of the things that inspired me the most―and I am a technical guy―was the fact that the color was brought to the show not [only] with electronics and lighting but [predominantly] via costuming and art. I think that is terrific, absolutely terrific."

Mrs. Fastook added, "It was wonderful! They're just an amazing group of artists."

Commenting on the live orchestra, Mr. Fastook said it was a "very nice mix" of "Western instruments, and the Western orchestration added into it. I think it makes for a terrific program."

Mrs. Fastook agreed saying, "It is a wonderful blend. The music is fantastic, as is the dancing. And I think the costumes and the colors just pull everyone in. I just love ... the scenery, it's gorgeous."

In discussing the cultural richness and significance of the Shen Yun show, Mr. Fastook remarked, "I think it is amazing, the cultural impact, and the fact that it is true performing arts.

"It was so refreshing to see a performance like that, so true to the art form and so true to the historical significance. It is really amazing ... It is definitely appreciated."

In closing, Mr. Fastook proclaimed, "I'll be back next year!"
