Falun Gong practitioner Li Ying became emaciated after being tortured in a labor camp for two years. She was forcibly injected with an unknown drug and suffered abdominal pain thereafter. She passed away at home on November 18, 2009.

Li Ying began to practice Falun Gong in 1996, she benefited tremendously from practicing Falun Gong and her psoriasis was cured. The evil CCP started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999. Li Ying was then sent to a detention center because she wore clothes with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance printed on them.

At around 11 p.m. one day in February 2002, Li Ying's home (also a laundry store) was surrounded by police. The police and over ten police cars from Chuanying District Police Station and Jilin city police department stopped at the front door , back window and corridor. Police went everywhere and entered the premises without a warrant. They illegally broke into the home and searched everywhere. They robbed three thousand yuan cash, Dafa books, recording tapes, exercise music, a banner, flyers, booklets and weekly magazines.

The police asked Li Ying where she got these materials. Li Ying refused to answer, then the police hit and kicked her. Her face swelled up. Li Ying's husband stepped forward to stop Li Ying from being taken away. The police hit his head with a wooden stick and his head was bleeding. Li Ying's twelve years old child was so scared that he hid silently, wrapped up in a blanket.

Li Ying was taken to the First Detention Center in Jilin City and her husband was detained at Qingdao street police station. Their child was left at home alone. The house became a mess and even the food in refrigerator was eaten by the police, they were just like robbers. The police threatened the family members to submit two thousand yuan for the release of Li Ying's husband who did not even practice Falun Gong.

Li Ying was interrogated at the detention center and the police hit and kicked her. Li Ying went on a hunger strike to protest her illegal detention. One month later, on March 4 she was abducted to Heizuizi forced labor camp in Changchun and persecuted there for two years.

Two years later when her term was due, because Li Ying refused to give up her belief, her term was extended for an additional twenty-four days. Li Ying once again went on a hunger strike to protest. The police tried to force-feed her but she resisted. Afterwards she was forcibly injected with unknown drug at the detention center, which they claimed was a nutritious medicine.

Li Ying finally came home, but she was emaciated due to the persecution. Her blood pressure was only about 30 and she was very weak. Half a month after she came home, Li Ying's health suddenly became worse, she threw up and could not eat anything. Her whole body ached, especially her organs. Her stomach was so painful that she rolled from bed to the ground. She was almost dying. Li Ying said: I have never felt so much pain in my life, not even in the labor camp.

From that time Li Ying often had abdominal pain until she passed away on November 18, 2009. Li Ying's death was possibly related to the unknown drug she was injected. Other Dafa practitioners who were injected with unknown drugs also passed away soon after they were released. Many also developed diarrhea. The police force Dafa practitioners to drink a liquid they say will cure the diarrhea. Those who drank the liquid could not stand up, and a Dafa practitioner who refused to drink it said that her diarrhea disappeared. It is believed that the police injected Dafa practitoners with a poison, an unknown drug, that would take effect only after some time.
