(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhu Yaoming, 78 years old, was a resident of Lequn Village. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1996 and benefited physically and mentally. After the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Zhu went to Beijing to appeal to stop the persecution. He was detained. His family was made to pay 3,000 yuan, which was deducted from his son's salary. The local officials also threatened his son that he might lose his job because his father practiced Falun Gong. His family was under huge pressure and no longer supported him in practicing Falun Gong. The local officials also often came to his home to harass him. Due to long term stress and pressure, Mr. Zhu could not continue with the practice and passed away in the fall of 2008.

Ms. Bai Fenglan, 75 years old, was a resident of Youhao Village. She began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. All of her long-term illnesses including high blood pressure, cataracts, and varicose veins disappeared. Although she was illiterate and only knew how to write her name, she was able to read Dafa books smoothly which was a miracle. After the persecution started, due to different kinds of interference and pressure, she could not maintain her practice of Falun Dafa. She passed away on May 30, 2008.

Mr. Li Lailong, 57 years old, was a resident of Guoqing Village. He used to have severe diabetes and was not able to work regularly. After he started practicing Falun Gong in 1997, he regained a healthy body and returned to his school to work. After the persecution started in July 1999, due to interference and pressure, he could not practice well. His health condition became unstable. His former illness came back and he passed away on November 7, 2008.

Mr. Jia Changyou, 72 years old, was a resident of Huanghui Village. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1996. After the persecution started, his son and daughter-in-law were detained and sentenced to forced labor several times for practicing Falun Gong. He was under tremendous pressure mentally and physically. He passed away in the winter of 2009.
