(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 29 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yin Ju'neng and Ms. Li Jiumei Arrested
On March 6, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Yin Ju'neng, 60 years old, and Ms. Li Jiumei, in her 50s, from Dujiangyan City were arrested. There whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Husband and Wife Arrested
On March 10, 2010, police officers from the Jiang'an Police Station arrested Mr. Tian Gang and his wife from Qiqihar city. Mr. Tian and his wife own and operate a tea shop.
3. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Hong and Mr. Yang Dafu Arrested
On March 10, 2010, Ms. Li Hong and Mr. Yang Dafu were arrested.
4. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and Their Property Confiscated
Ms. Huang Jieying from Beihai City, Guangxi Province was arrested at around 10 a.m. on March 9, 2010. Ms. Huang is being detained in the First Detention Center.
At 3 a.m. on March 10, Ms. Zhang Ruifang's house was ransacked, and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. However, she escaped being arrested. At the same time, Ms. Huang Qiying's house was searched.
5. [Kunming city, Yunnan Province] City Court and Procuratorate Subpoena a Dozen Practitioners
In October and November 2009, officers from the Domestic Security Brigade in Dongchuan District, Kunming City ransacked a dozen practitioners' homes, including Ms. Zhang Meilan, Ms. Liu Rong and Ms. Peng Sufen. Ms. Liu was detained in the Mushulang Detention Center for 17 days. The Dongchuan District Procuratorate released the three practitioners after extorting money from them.
On March 2, 2010, the Kunming Intermediate Court summoned the three practitioners to the Procuratorate and put them on trial.

6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wu Junhua Detained
On March 10, 2010, Ms. Wu Junhua from Tuchengzi, Jilin City was distributing Falun Dafa fliers when officers from the Longhua Police Station in Longtan District arrested and detained her in the Jilin City Detention Center.
7. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Harassed
Police officers extorted 1,000 yuan from Ms. Tian Guiying, Mr. Tian Guixin and Mr. Zhan Qingrong, and confiscated their Falun Gong books.
8. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zheng Qingzhi Arrested
At 6 a.m. on March 10, 2010, police officers from the Longsha District Police Station broke into Ms. Zheng Qingzhi's house and arrested her. Later the police arrested Ms. Zheng's husband and son, and confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer and an MP4 player. Ms. Zheng's husband and son were later released.

On January 2010, police officers from the Laiguangying Police Station in Zhaoyang District arrested Mr. Pang You.

10. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Police Officers Arrest Ms. Song Yuling
At 10 a.m. on March 11, 2010, police officers arrested Ms. Song Yuling and Ms. Gao Siyun when they were going to a market. The police took them to the Sanlihe Street Office Police Station.
11. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Police Officers Arrest Ms. Xiu Yuping
Police officers from the Jiaodong Office Police Station in Jiaozhou City arrested Ms. Xiu Yuping on March 11 when she was distributing Falun Gong fliers.
12. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhou Ming Arrested
Mr. Zhou Ming used to work in the Metallurgy Bureau in the Yanjiao Development Area in Sanhe City. On March 9, 2010, police officers arrested and ransacked his home. He is being tortured in the Langfang Brainwashing Center.

13. [Qian'an City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
On March 2, 2010, Ms. Dong Yali and Ms. Zhang Xiaoru from Magangzi Village, Qian'an Town were arrested at home.
14. [Xi'an City, Shanxi Province] More Details on Ms. Li Xueqing's Situation
Ms. Li Xueqing was detained in the Chang'an County Brainwashing Center, and she was later transferred to the Weiyang District Detention Center. She has been detained for over 200 days.
15. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. He Chunhua Arrested
On February 26, 2010, Ms. He Chunhua was arrested. Ms. He was an employee at the Jiujiang Light Machinery Factory.
16. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Shuying Arrested

Police officers arrested Ms. Li Chaosu on January 7, 2010, when she was distributing Falun Dafa materials. The officers locked her in the Jiangbei Detention Center. She was sentenced to a one-year prison term and transferred to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp.

On March 10, 2010, Ms. Meng Zhaohua, 70 years old, and Ms. Xiong Shuqin, in her 70s, were arrested and taken to the Dongfeng Police Station in Shuangcheng City.

On March 9, 2010, police officers from the Wuchang City Public Safety Bureau arrested Ms. Xia Yuehua at her home.
20. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Chen Fei and Ms. Zhuang Xiuhua Arrested
On March 1, Ms. Chen Fei was arrested and taken to the Mudanjiang City Second Detention Center. She is being detained in the 13th ward.
On March 1, police officers arrested Ms. Zhuang Xiuhua. Ms. Zhuang was forced to jump out of a window and broke her leg. She is in the Mudanjiang Public Safety Hospital.
21. [Jiaocheng County, Shanxi Province] Ms. You Liqing Is Arrested
At 10 a.m. on March 9, 2010, Liang Zonghui and three other officers from Jiaocheng County Public Safety Bureau and the 610 Office arrested Ms. You Liqing.
22. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Xuexiu's Home Ransacked
In the morning on March 4, 2010, a dozen people broke into Ms. Zhao Xuexiu's home in Hetao Village, Hainan Township, and confiscated Falun Dafa books, Teacher's picture, and some Falun Dafa brochures. On February 9, 2010, Mr. Wang Hongbin from Haidian District was arrested at home. His CD's, MP3 player and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. Mr. Wang is being detained in the Haidian Detention Center.
24. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
On March 7, 2010, Ms. Chang Baohua and Ms. Wu Yueju were arrested.
25. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Xichun Sentenced to Forced Labor
On January 20, 2010, Ms. Yu Xichun was arrested and taken to the Dalian Forced Labor Camp. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor.
26. [Qiu County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wei Dong Arrested
Mr. Wei Dong was on his way to Beijing. Police officers searched his luggage and found Falun Dafa materials. The police arrested him and detained him somewhere in Matou Town, Qiu County.
