(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 8 Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 12 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Jiang Yongsheng on Hunger Strike
Mr. Jiang Yongsheng, a practitioner who was employed as a teacher in Sanjingzi Town Vocational High School, Fuyu County, Songyuan City, has been detained in Jiutai Forced Labor Camp since his arrest in 2009. Mr. Jiang has refused to renounce Falun Dafa. At the end of February 2010, the guards began to monitor him around the clock and forced him to sit on a board when they found that he was studying Teacher's articles. Mr. Jiang went on a hunger strike beginning March 2, 2010.
2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Kou Yunping and Other Practitioners Arrested
Police arrested Mr. Kou Yunping and other practitioners from Dalian City when they were distributing Falun Dafa materials in Pulandian City. They are being detained in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. The police ransacked Mr. Kou's home.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yu Yang Persecuted in Labor Camp and Hospital
Mr. Yu Yang, a practitioner from the Shenhe District in Shenyang City, is being held in the Shenxin Forced Labor Camp. He has been on hunger strike for a long time. He came down with problems with his kidneys. Mr. Yu is now being held in Room #1518 at the Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University. Guards from the Shenxin Labor Camp are still monitoring him.
4. [Suibin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Zhixiu Secretly Sentenced
At 8:30 a.m. on January 28, 2010, the Baoquanling Court sentenced Ms. Zhang Zhixiu from Suibin County. Ms. Zhang is now in the Baoquanling Detention Center.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Cuijuan's Home Ransacked
Officials from the local 610 Office and Domestic Security Division of Miyun County in Beijing ransacked Ms. Wang Cuijuan's home. She is from Jiuyuanzhuang, Miyun County. They confiscated her computer and other personal property. Ms. Wang has left her home to escape arrest.

6. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Yuming Arrested Again
Mr. Zhang Yuming, born in 1968, is from Xiji Town in the Tongzhou District of Beijing. He was arrested again at the end of July 2009, when he went to buy materials at Dinghao Electronic Market in Zhongguancun, the Haidian District. He talked about Falun Gong to the business owner and was reported to the police. Mr. Zhang was arrested and taken to the Haidian District Detention Center.
Early in 2000, Mr. Zhang was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. In 2003, he was sentenced to a three-year prison term because of his firm belief in Falun Dafa. He was tortured during his imprisonment.
7. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Hongbin Arrested and His Home Ransacked
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on February 9, 2010, officers from the Haidian District Police Bureau arrested Mr. Wang Hongbin from the Haidian District in Beijing at his home. They also ransacked his home.
At the end of 2000, Mr. Wang was sentenced to three and a half years in prison because he talked to people about Falun Gong.
8. [Tianjin] Ms. He Guirong Arrested and Detained
On March 10, 2010, Ms. He Guirong, a practitioner from the Hebei District in Tianjin, was reported to police when distributing materials about Falun Gong. She is being detained in the Jianchangdao Police Station in the Hebei District of Tianjin.
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Gu Arrested and Home Ransacked
Recently, the police arrested Ms. Gu from the Dongchangli Residential Community in the Hebei District of Tianjin. They also ransacked her home.
10. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Luan Riling Arrested
On March 12, 2010, officers from Chaoshui Police Station arrested Ms. Luan Riling from Penglai City when she was telling people about Falun Gong at the market in Chaoshui Town. She is being detained in the Penglai Detention Center.
11. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Yuling Arrested and Detained
Ms. Song Yuling from Jiaozhou City was arrested and later transferred to Jiaozhou City Detention Center.

12. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hu Songhua Arrested
On March 12, police officers from Rizhao City arrested Mr. Hu Songhua, who was employed in the Metro Depot of China Railway. They ransacked his home and confiscated his computer and other personal property.
13. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Huang Suqin Arrested
On March 12, 2010, Ms. Huang Suqin, a practitioner from Liushuquan in the Fengnan District of Tangshan City, was arrested.
14. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Meng Qingguo and Mr. Li Hanqing Awaiting Sentencing
Mr. Meng Qingguo and Mr. Li Hanqing from the Xiejiaji District in Huainan City have been detained for more than eight months. They are awaiting sentencing.

15. [Tongling City, Anhui Province] Mr. Han Zhong Sentenced to Six-Year Prison Term
In May 2009, local police arrested Mr. Han Zhong Tongling City. Towards the end of 2009, he was secretly sentenced to a six-year prison term.
16. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Fengxian and Ms. He Xianyin Arrested
At approximately 9:00 a.m. on March 8, 2010, officials from the City Administration Bureau arrested Ms. Zhang Fengxian and Ms. He Xianyin, both in their 70s, from Chengdu City. They were talking to people about Falun Gong in Wan'an Town, Huayang, Chengdu City. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Xiangyin County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhou Cengying Detained
Ms. Zhou Cengying, in her 60s, is from Nanhuzhouda Town, Xiangyin County in the Yueyang Region, Hunan Province. In the middle of the night on January 28, 2010, Liu Jihua, the village CCP secretary, and Yang Lingzhi reported Ms. Zhou to policeman Yin Fangqiang because she had been distributing materials about Falun Gong in the Liuguan District, Yipoguang Village. The police arrested her, and she is now in the Miluo City Detention Center.
18. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Tan Xinfeng Arrested
On March 5, 2010, officers from Nanjing City's 610 Office and Pukou District Police Bureau arrested Mr. Tan Xinfeng, who was employed in the Pukou District Land Bureau in Nanjing City, at work. The police also ransacked Mr. Tan's home.
