Udumbara Flowers Blossom in Medan, Indonesia (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Hui was very surprised to see tiny, white Udumbara flowers blossom on a rope in her house in Medan, Indonesia. Later, she found some more Udumbara flowers on the leaves of her orchid flowers on the third floor.

Buddhist scriptures say that the flowers open once in three thousand years, and the rare flowers signal Chakravartin ("He who turns the Wheel") descending into the world.
