(Clearwisdom.net) At around 10:00 a.m., on March 17, 2010, local policeman Sun Lei and two other officers from Jiadong Police Station, Dongfeng Public Security Branch Bureau, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Ma Chunli without a search warrant. They confiscated a computer, Dafa books, and informational material about Falun Gong. They took Ms. Ma to Jiadong Police Station.
Upon returning home, Ms. Ma Chunli's son started to cry when the door was locked and he could not find his mother. He did not know what had happened to her. The neighbors told him that the policemen had taken his mother away. He was so frightened that he cried and cried. Ms. Ma and her son live by themselves. Without his mother, he is all alone and has no one else to depend on. Friends and neighbors sympathized with their tragic situation.
On the morning of March 18, Ms. Tong Yaqin, also a Falun Gong practitioner, along with Ms. Ma's kindhearted neighbor and another sympathetic lady, visited Jiadong Police Station to request the release of Ma Chunli. Ms. Tong argued reasonably but infuriated the police chief, Feng Kaidong. As a result, he detained Ms. Tong and took her to Jiamusi Detention Center at 4:00 in the afternoon.
Ms. Tong Yaqin's unfortunate encounter is the reason why very few people in China dare to speak up for Falun Gong practitioners. The cruel suppression by the Chinese Communist Party makes it hard for truthful information to be heeded and righteous acts to take place in China.
