(Clearwisdom.net) In early December 2009, as Ms. Cui Guifen was talking to people about Falun Gong in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, she was reported to police and illegally arrested by local authorities. Agents from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office took her to Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City. Because she refused to cooperate with the authorities and would not give up her practice of Falun Gong, she was put in solitary confinement. The cell was dark, and had no windows. All contact with the outside world was completely cut off and her family was not allowed to visit her. Every day the only food she was given was a small piece of steamed cornbread and some salty pickled vegetables. According to inside information, she has been tortured and is now emaciated and disfigured.
Around March 26, 2010, Ms. Cui was in the big courtyard and walking near the external gate. She was spotted by the guards, who grabbed her hair and smashed her into the gate. Some of the guards kicked her and punched her. When they became tired from beating her, they dragged her inside to a room, where they continued beating her. Outside the gate, a few residents living nearby witnessed the beating and were shocked at what they saw. One person said, "In broad daylight, they savagely beat a person like that. Who knows what they would do to torture people behind doors?"
Our hope is that people with a sense of justice will be concerned about Ms. Cui Guifen's situation, and help her leav the evil's den and regain freedom of both body and mind as soon as possible.
