(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. He Suzhen, 70, from Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, was taken into police custody more than two months ago. She suffers from serious high blood pressure. She just returned home after serving a three-year prison sentence. Officials from the Shunqing District Court, manipulated by the district 610 Office, are planning to bring Ms. He to trial once again.

Ms. He's husband is a 74-year-old veteran, who used to guard the frontiers of the country for over 20 years. He has been to the local police department every day to demand his wife's release, but to no avail. He has sought help to secure his wife's release. He told everybody he met, including state security agents, police, and 610 Office personnel, that he wholeheartedly supports and respects his wife's belief, because he witnessed how she recovered completely from being almost blind because she practices Falun Gong. He also saw that, during the 14 years since his wife started the practice of Falun Gong, she has not needed any medicine, which means that she has saved a large sum of money for her employer, their family, and the country.

Ms. He is retired from the Nanchong City Petroleum Company. When her husband and she were walking on the People's North Road, plainclothes officer Liu Yu from the Xihe Road Police Station saw them and called two more officers to arrest and take Ms. He to the Shunqing District Police Department's Domestic Security Division. Ms. He was later held at Huafeng Detention Center in Nanchong City.

Ms. He has been detained four times. In the first half of 2000, officials with the Shunqing District Police Department held her in custody for five days. Officials from Nanchong City and Shunqing District's 610 Office, as well as from Shunqing District's legal offices, decided on May 17, 2001, to sentence Ms. He to one year of forced labor, but she served it outside the labor camp. In January 2001, officials of the 610 Office and police department in both Nanchong City and Xichong County held Ms. He for 40 days. She was held in the Nanchong City Brainwashing Center for three months in August 2003. Yang Ze, Yu Xiangming, Fu Shaolin, and others from 610 Offices in Nanchong City and the Shunqing District participated in the persecution. Ms. He was sentenced to three years in prison on February 3, 2005, for speaking with people about Falun Gong in the City Government New District. She was subjected to severe mistreatment and returned home on February 2, 2008.

Ms. He has been held in police custody for over two months following her latest arrest.
