(Clearwisdom.net) In the afternoon of April 23, Falun Gong practitioners rallied at Montreal Chinatown's Sun Yat-Sen Park to commemorate the eleventh anniversary of the historic April 25 Appeal. At the rally, several practitioners shared their personal experiences with Falun Gong. The rally attracted many passersby.

Before the rally, practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, creating a peaceful and solemn atmosphere for the event. The practitioners also held a Falun Dafa Photo Exhibit which included photos depicting the past 18 years of the worldwide spread of the practice.
For many westerners, it was the first time they had learned about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. They were shocked by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) horrific atrocities and expressed their support for Falun Gong. One couple chatted with a practitioner for nearly 20 minutes about Falun Gong and the April 25 Appeal. At the end of the conversation, they said: "We support your struggle for justice."

At the rally, as a participant of the April 25 Appeal, Ms. Chen shared her personal account of the event. Ms. Sun shared her observation on how the CCP plotted against Falun Gong and then used state resources to persecute practitioners in order to eradicate the practice. They both appealed to the public for support to end the persecution.
Practitioners noticed that many Chinese people smiled when they saw the rally and photos, indicating that they are no longer deceived by the CCP's propaganda and are not afraid to show their support for Falun Gong.
