(Clearwisdom.net) In May 2008, Ms. Su Zebi was arrested by policeman Liang Shibin. In June 2008, she was sent to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp for one year. After her release, Ms. Su passed away in November 2009.
In the early morning of May 19, 2008, policemen Liang Shibin, Chen Xiaodong, and Liu Ling, from the National Security Brigade, Jiangbei District Public Security Branch Bureau waited downstairs in Ms. Su Zebi's building. At 8 a.m., when Ms. Su left home, she was arrested and taken to the National Security Brigade office, Jiangbei District Public Security Branch Bureau, to be interrogated.
Three policemen forcibly entered and ransacked her home at 10 a.m. the same day. Ms. Su was later taken to the Yubei Brainwashing Center. During Ms. Su's detention at the brainwashing center, Ms. Su's daughter went to the National Security Brigade to ask for her mother's release. Liang Shibin cursed at her and turned her away.
On June 1, 2008, Ms. Su Zebi was transferred to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she suffered tremendously, both physically and mentally. She was released on June 1, 2009, but policemen from the Hongqihegou police station repeatedly harassed and threatened her after that. If they could not find her, they would harass her daughter and son-in-law. Ms. Su's health continued to deteriorate, and she passed away on November 14, 2009, at the age of 71.
