(Clearwisdom.net) After hearing that fellow practitioners who live in remote villages lacked Dafa materials, practitioner A actively provided financial aid for them to buy e-books and download Dafa materials. When he was detained at the forced labor camp, practitioner A stepped forward and confronted the head of the guards when fellow practitioners were physically abused.
That head of the guards was quite infamous and well known for persecuting practitioners. Some practitioners suffered a mental collapse due to his continuously shocking them with high-voltage electric batons. Some were severely injured, and others died as a result of the persecution.
When the head guard approached him while holding an electric baton, practitioner A had no fear. He held no resentment and did not try to stop him. Instead, he only felt profound pity for this poor being, thinking that the guard was foolishly harming both others and himself. Practitioner A said to him quietly, "You are lost in delusion."
The guard struck practitioner A twice with the electric baton. However, A was still standing there, without any movement. In surprise, the guard retreated several steps and said, "If you don't change, I will do it again." But as he said those words, the guard threw the baton aside and quickly ran away. He kept on running, leaving the gate, finally stopping when he arrived in the courtyard.
Several days later, the head guard said in the corridor, "I have seen four to five hundred practitioners. But till now, I hadn't encountered one with real supernormal ability." In the past, he often brandished an electric baton and shouted, "Which practitioner has supernormal abilities? Step forward. Let me take a look." This became his pet phrase. However, practitioner A truly shocked the evildoer this time.
Despite that kind of harsh environment, there are many other practitioners who have no fear and have strong righteous thoughts. However, few practitioners could awe or directly engage the evil. After studying Master's lecture, "Fa Teaching at the 2009 Washington DC International Fa Conference", I realized the difference. Master clearly pointed out,
"When this compassionate goodness emerges, its strength is without equal, and it will disintegrate any bad factors. The greater the compassion, the greater the power."
