The citation stated "The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania joins with the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association and Falun Gong practitioners as they celebrate this momentous occasion; offers best wishes for the continuation of their many worthwhile and beneficial endeavors."

Whereas, The House of Representatives of Pennsylvania takes great pleasure in recognizing those organizations which contribute to the benefit of their communities and ultimately to all the citizens of this commonwealth; and

Whereas, The Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association is joining with Falun Dafa practitioners to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2010; and

Whereas, Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a traditional Chinese spiritual discipline which consists of moral teachings for daily life, meditation and exercise based upon the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. Falun Dafa Day commemorates the thousands of Falun Gong practitioners who have lost their lives in the peaceful defense of human rights and freedom of belief and to call for an end to the repression in China. It also marks the eighteenth anniversary of Li Hongzhi first teaching Falun Gong in public.

Now therefore, the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania joins with the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association and Falun Gong practitioners as they celebrate this momentous occasion; offers best wishes for the continuation of their many worthwhile and beneficial endeavors;

And directs that a copy of this citation, sponsored by the Honorable Babette Josephs on May 7, 2010, be transmitted to the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association, 232 Tudor Drive, North Wales, Pennsylvania 19454.
