(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces. In this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yunfeng Transferred to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City
On January 29, 2010, Ms. Liu Yunfeng was arrested by officers from the Zhanqian Police Station in Wafangdian City. Her home was ransacked and she was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. On May 5, 2010, Ms. Liu was transferred to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City from the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City.

2. [Zaoqiang County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Hongguo's Home Ransacked
At about 11:20 p.m. on May 5, 2010, nine policemen climbed over the yard wall and broke into the home of Mr. Zhang Hongguo in Nanguan Town, Zaoqiang County. They destroyed locks and pried cabinets open. The police took away Dafa books, pictures of Master Li, copies of Minghui Weekly, a computer, two cell phones and other property.
3. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Nie Yinzhen Tortured in Hefei Women's Prison
Because Ms. Nie Yinzhen did not cooperate and wear the prison uniform, guards of the Hefei Women's Prison stuffed her mouth with a dirty cloth which was used to clean toilets. She has become somewhat disoriented as a result of persecution.

5. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Liqin Arrested on May 16, 2010
6. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xia Ruiying Arrested
On May 8, 2010, Ms. Xia Ruiying from Yuncheng County, Heze City was reported to police when she went to Hehai, Dingchang Township, Yuncheng County to distribute Falun Gong materials. She was taken into custody by officers from the Yuncheng Police Department, and her home was ransacked.
7. [Siping, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Guiyan Arrested in Shuangliao on May 13, 2010 and Sent to a Brainwashing Center
8. [Tianjin City] Ms. Gao Jinfeng and Ms. Fang Yuxia Taken to Ji County Detention Center
On May 13, 2010, Ms. Gao Jinfeng from Yangjinzhuang Town and Ms. Fang Yuxia from Xiawo Town, Ji County, Tianjin City were arrested by officers from the Xiacang Police Station and sent to the Ji County Detention Center.
9. [Hulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zeng Qingyi Arrested by Officers from Pingan Police Station
On May 13, 2010, Li Yedeng from the Pingan Police Station in Shulan City went to the home of Mr. Zeng Qingyi in Xinfa Village. He deceived Mr. Zeng into going to the police station under the pretense of having him sign a document. However, Mr. Zeng was taken to the brainwashing session in the Shulan Grain Bureau instead.
10. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Jie Detained in Yaojia Detention Center
Ms. Meng Jie, in her 40s, has a shoe repair shop near the Paoya Market. She was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong. On around April 27, 2010, she was arrested. Now she is being detained in the Yaojia Detention Center.
11. [Qufu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Genfa Persecuted
Mr. Zhao Genfa was sent back to the Qufu Detention Center after the Weishan County Prison refused to accept him. On the morning of May 17, 2010, the 610 Office of Qufu Politics and Law Committee sent Mr. Zhao to the Taian Prison.
12. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] On the Morning of May 17, 2010, Ms. Gao Xiumei of the Anqiu Civil Affairs Bureau Was Arrested by the Anqiu Domestic Security Police
13. [Beijing] Ms. Song Meiying Arrested
In the early morning on May 7, 2010, Ms. Song Meiying, a Falun Gong practitioner and lawyer, was arrested by Xu Yong from the Chaoyang District Domestic Security Division and Li Lianxi and Zhao Zhihua from the Shuangjing Police Station. She is detained in the Chaoyang District Detention Center.
