(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ma Yuling from Qingyang was sentenced to four years in prison in March 2010. In 2002, Ma Yuling was sentenced to six years and had been imprisoned and persecuted in Lanzhou Jiuzhou Developing District Women's Prison. She was released at the end of 2007.

Ma Yuling before the persecution

Ma Yuling was an employee of the Qingcheng County Communication Department. On the evening of April 15, 2009, she went to visit practitioner Liu Xueqin; however, Ms. Liu had been arrested at work that day. The National Security Department in Qingyang City and the Qingcheng County Police Department sent at least seven police officers to wait at Ms. Liu's apartment. The officers arrested Ma Yuling the moment she arrived.

Soon after, officers ransacked Ma Yuling's apartment, then confiscated her computer and other expensive property. Later, Liu Yuqin was released, while Ma Yuling was taken to Qingcheng County Detention Center. Due to reconstruction work at the Qingcheng County Detention Center, she was taken to Huan County Detention Center.

In March 2010, Ma Yuling received a four-year sentence by the Qingcheng County Court.

Ma Yuling returned home in 2007 after about six years of persecution. One year later, Ma Yuling was arrested again. Her arrest was a heavy blow to both her seventy year-old mother and her son. Police officers continually harassed her family at the apartment; her mother couldn't endure the stress and was taken to a hospital in November 2009. Currently, half of her body is paralyzed, and she is bedridden. Ma Yuling's son Ma Yuan is attending college, and seeking support from other relatives. He went home for the holidays, but didn't see his mother. Now, Ma Yuan's phone is monitored in Beijing, and he lives in fear.

Ma Yuling is currently subjected to persecution in Huan County Detention Center. In addition to her six years of persecution, Ma Yuling has endured many tribulations.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) banned the practice of Falun Dafa in July 1999. Ma Yuling went to Beijing to appeal, and was arrested. Police officers extorted money from her before releasing her.

Ma Yuling was arrested in September 2002, at the same time that practitioner Xu Feng from Qingcheng County was being persecuted (she is still in Lanzhou Prison). Ma Yuling was sentenced to six years and persecuted in Jiuzhou Developing District Women's Prison in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. In prison, she was beaten, subjected to sleep deprivation, and forced to do heavy labor. Her mind and body were tortured, and according to her mother, her hair turned all white at that time.

Ma Yuling and her ex-husband divorced before she began practicing Falun Dafa. While she was in prison, her son Ma Yuan lived a hard life with her mother.

Ma Yuling returned home at the end of 2007, without a job and with a son studying in college. She went everywhere for help to live, and to pay her son's tuition. Her company provided her with only a low-salary job. She was always followed by police officers, even when she visited her parents.
