(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zou Lisha is a Falun Gong practitioner working at the Mouping District, Yinhe Textile Company, Yantai City, Shandong Province. Since the persecution started, more than a dozen Falun Gong practitioners in the same factory have been fired. Ms. Zou Lisha has been subjected to imprisonment, forced labor and interrogation with torture.

In October 2000, Ms. Zou Lisha and several other practitioners from the same factory went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution of Falun Gong. They were arrested and escorted back to the Dayao Police Station. Police station director Wang Lin and police officer Xu Changjiang beat them viciously and tied them to utility poles along the road to humiliate them. They were then thrown into the detention center for one month. During this time, they were interrogated by police officers Hu Fengrui, He Zhongren and Zhang Shupo. One night, they used electric batons to shock Ms. Zou in attempt to force her to give information about other practitioners. When the practitioners were released, the factory director Dou Benren fined them 2750 yuan and then fired them.

After Zou Lisha got a new job, in July 2001, several people from the Mouping District went to her workplace to arrest her and sent her to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp for two years.

In July 2007, Zou Lisha and another Falun Gong practitioner Qu Xiuli talked to people about how the Chinese Communist Party persecuted Falun Gong. As a result, he was sentenced to forced labor camp by Yang Yinghai from the Mouping Domestic Security Division for one year.
