(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Feixiang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ge Hefei Detained in the Hebei Women's Prison
Ms. Ge Hefei, 22, lives in Dongxiedian Village, Maoyanbao Township, Feixiang County, Handan City, Hebei Province. On November 15, 2008, she was arrested by officers from the Xinan Town Police Station and the Feixiang County Police Department while she was distributing Falun Gong materials. She was detained in the Feixiang County Detention Center. Later on she was sentenced and has been detained in the First Division of the Hebei Women's Prison.

3. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Additional Information About Arrested Falun Gong Practitioners Including Mr. Sun Zongxu
On December 19, 2009, Mr. Sun Zongxu, Ms. Lin Shuzhen, Mr. Tang Peiwu, Ms. Ding Yezhao and other practitioners were arrested in Anqiu City. They have been detained in the Anqiu Detention Center. The Anqiu Court has opened three sessions against them.
4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Additional Information about Arrest of Mr. Shang Dexing
On May 3, 2010, Mr. Shang Dexing was arrested by officers from the Zhonghan Bianfang Police Station in Laoshan, Qingdao City. On May 4, 2010, he was sent to the Dasha Second Detention Center in Qingdao City.
5. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shurong and Ms. Chu Xiurong Arrested
At 8 a.m. on May 20, 2010, Ms. Wang Shurong and Ms. Chu Xiurong from Yinsiqiao, Zhangjiachan Town, Wendeng, Weihai City, were arrested by officers from the Zhangjiachan Town Police Station while they were talking to people about Falun Gong near a gas station. Their homes were ransacked. The two practitioners are being detained in the Wendeng Detention Center.
6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Xuetang Forced to Become Homeless and Destitute
Mr. Liu Xuetang, 54 years old, lives in Wuhutong Village, Bianhe Township, Linzi District, Zibo City. Since July 20, 1999, he has been repeatedly persecuted. On September 20, 2001, he was sent to a forced labor camp for two years.
At 10 a.m. on May 20, 2010, Yu Zhijie, Chief of the Linzi District Domestic Security Team, Director Liu from the 610 Office and other officers went to search Mr. Liu Xuetang's home in the name of having a conversation. They took away a desk calendar, Falun Dafa books, Falun Gong materials, and other items. Mr. Liu managed to walk away. Now he has become homeless and destitute.
7. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Attorney Wang Zhansuo Persecuted
On the night of March 4, 2010, Mr. Wang Zhansuo, a lawyer, along with his family, were arrested by about ten officers from the 610 Office of the Huangdao Developing District, as well as the local Changjianglu Police Station. Currently, Mr. Wang is being detained in the Huangdao District Detention Center.
8. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Jihong and Ms. Hou Xiuying Arrested
At noon on May 22, 2010, Ms. Liu Jihong and Ms. Hou Xiuying from Mian County were arrested in Lueyang County. On the night of May 23, 2010, Lueyang police went to ransack their homes and took away some personal property. Now they are being detained in Lueyang County.

9. [Qixia, Shandong Province] Additional Information about Persecution of Ms. Mu Shulan
At 8 a.m. on May 20, 2010, Ms. Mu Shulan from Shajiang Village, Taocun Town, Qixia was arrested by officers from the Taocun Town Government and the Taocun Police Department while she was talking to people about Falun Gong in the Dazhuangtou Farmer's Market.
10. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fang Yuqing from Wangcun Town, Zhoucun District Arrested by Officers from the Zhoucun 610 Office
11. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Xiurong Arrested
At 9 p.m. on May 21, 2010, Ms. Song Xiurong was at her mother's home. Officers from Kuaida County, Tonghua City as well as Ms. Song's husband, took Ms. Song away and ransacked the house. They took away one or two cases of Falun Dafa books. Currently, Ms. Song is being detained in the Kuaida Detention Center.
12. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Herong Detained
On May 21, 2010, Ms. Zhang Herong from Wucun Town, Huixian City was arrested by police. Currently she is being detained in the Xinxiang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

13. [Chongqing City] Ms. Wang Yingcui Arrested
At 10 a.m. on May 18, 2010, Zhang Daicheng, Xu Xinxue and others from the Kai County 610 Office went to the hotel owned by Ms. Wang Yingcui's family and arrested her. Her home was ransacked and the police took away Dafa books and Falun Gong materials.

14. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Mengping Arrested
Sometime around May 13, 2010, Ms. Zhang Mengping, in her 60's, was taken to the Pinggang Detention Center by officers from the Jiangcheng District Domestic Security Team while distributing Falun Gong materials. A week later, she was sent to a brainwashing center.

15. [Langfang City, Shandong Province] Ms. An Shuqin Taken to the Langfang Brainwashing Center in the Middle of April 2010
16. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wan Xiaohui Brutally Persecuted in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
On April 10, 2010, Ms. Wan Xiaohui was arrested by officers from the Fumin Police Station. On April 30, 2010, she was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term.
Just twenty days later after being sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Wan became very thin and could not walk as a result of the persecution. She appeared to have a piece of flesh missing from her face.

17. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information About the Arrest of Mr. Bai Shizhong
On May 23, 2010, Mr. Bai Shizhong, 65, from the Keshan Farm, was reported to police by Bai Chunguo, Head of the City Administration Bureau. He was then arrested and his home ransacked. The police took away a computer, a printer, a plastic sealer, Falun Gong materials, and other items.
18. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Mr. Li Hongwei Detained in the Armed Police Hospital
Mr. Li Hongwei, in his 40's, works in the Zhoukou Transportation Administration Office. At noon on April 30, 2010, seven or eight officers from the Shanan Police Department broke into his home and ransacked it. They took away Dafa books and brochures. Mr. Li is being detained in the Armed Police Hospital and is not allowed to go home.

In May 2010, Ms. Wang Liping from Kelamayi, Xinjiang was taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City, Liaoning Province.

On May 23, 2010, Ms. Cao Xiaorong was taken to a brainwashing center by officers from the Xiufeng District Police Department and the Lijun Police Station. On May 24, 2010, her home was ransacked. The police took away Dafa books and pictures of Teacher Li Hongzhi.
