(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, ten Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jilin Province] Mr. Zheng Weidong Contracted Tuberculosis in Prison
Tuberculosis was spreading rapidly through Shiling Prison, in Siping City, Jilin Province, due to unhygienic conditions. Mr. Zheng Dongwei and many other practitioners contracted the disease. Mr. Zheng was emaciated, yet he was forced to do hard labor.
Mr. Zheng was a teacher at Jilin Electronics Information Senior Technical School. He was sentenced to a 13-year prison term by the Nanguan District Court, Changchun City in March 2002. He's been detained for more than ten years. His wife Ms. Shen Jianli died resulting from persecution.

2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lu Yan and Her Husband Arrested
On the afternoon of June 3, 2001, police officers from the Tuanjie Police Station, Tonghua City, arrested Ms Lu Yan, her husband Mr. Zhu Qimin, and her younger sister Ms. Lu Dan, who was not a practitioner. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated personal belongings.
The officers took Ms. Lu Yan to Tonghua Central Hospital for a health checkup on the afternoon of June 4. She is being held at Changliu Detention Center and her sister at Kaida Detention Center.

3. [Hulin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Liping Imprisoned in Inner Mongolia
Ms. Gao Liping from Hulin County, Heilongjiang Province went on a hunger strike on May 19, 2010 to protest her imprisonment. She is being held at Bayantuohai Township, Ewenki Autonomous Banner, Inner Mongolia.
4. [Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Yuying Arrested
Ms. Jiang Yuying, 60, was arrested by police officers from the Chengzhong Police Station at the Oushang Supermarket at around noon on June 2, 2010.
5. [Ji'an City, Jilin Province] Additional Information About the Arrest of Ms. Tian Guiying and Two Other Practitioners
Ms. Tian Guiying, Ms. Tian Guixin and Mr. Zhan Qingrong, from Ji'an City, Jilin Province, went to Baoma Village, Caiyuan Township, Ji'an City to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong and persuade people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its subordinate organizations in April 2010. They were arrested by police officers from the Huadian Township Police Station and released after the police extorted 1,000 yuan from each of them.
The police officers continued to harass the three practitioners. Mr. Zhan Qingrong left his home and became homeless to avoid being arrested. Wang Yufeng and other officers from the Huadian Police Station arrested Ms. Tian Guiying and Ms. Tian Guixin again and escorted them to a drug addiction treatment center in Changchun City on the morning of May 6, 2010. Mr. Zhan Qingrong was arrested in Shandong on June 2, 2010.

6. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information on Ms. Zuo Xianfeng's Arrest
Ms. Zuo Xianfeng, a teacher at the Sandaogang Township High School, in Yilan County, was reported as she talked about the persecution of Falun Gong at Yilan Market in the afternoon of May 30, 2010. She was arrested and detained at Yilan County Detention Center. Zhang Yinduo, head of the National Security Division at Yilan County Police Department, his deputy Song Yuze, and Xi Jingwu, from the Sandaogang Township Police Station, ransacked Ms. Zuo's home and her school office. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials as well as some personal belongings on June 1.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Piao Lihua and Ms. An Jingyu Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Piao Lihua and Ms. An Jingyu from Shijingshan District, Beijing were arrested on April 26, 2010 at Huairou District and were taken to the Shijingshan Police Sub-bureau. Ms. Piao Linhua was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor and Ms. Anjingyu to two years. They were transferred to the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Piao Lihua, 42, was sentenced to two years of forced labor in December, 2006 and returned home in July 2007. She was forced to leave her home in 2008 to avoid being harassed by police.
Ms. An Jingyu, 42, and her husband Mr. Zhang Shuhui are practitioners. She was arrested on November 26, 2009 by police officers from the Beixinqiao Police Station. She was taken to Xinan Forced Labor Camp in Daxing City, Beijing.
8. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Cuihong Arrested
Ms. Song Cuihong was arrested on June 5, 2010.
9. [Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Yutan and Ms. Tan Guijuan Arrested
Mr. Liu Yutan and Ms. Tan Guijuan, both from Longkou City, were arrested on May 28, 2010 when distributing materials about Falun Gong at Beifang Automobile Parts Market in Fushan District, Yantai City. They were forced to leave Longkou City several years ago to avoid being arrested. They were taken back to Longkou.
10. [Shandong Province] Mr. Song Shufu and Mr. Du Xueyi Inhumanly Tortured
Mr. Song Shufu and Mr. Du Xueyi were inhumanly tortured at the Shandong Provincial No. 2 Forced Labor Camp.
Song Shufu, 45, from Rushan County, was sentenced to three years of forced labor in May 2008. Mr. Song lost all his teeth during inhuman beatings by police officers, which were ordered by Sun Fengjun because Mr. Song refused to write the so-called three statements.
Mr. Du Xuey, Guangrao County, 40, was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. In March 2009, he was brutally beaten by guards for shouting "Falun Dafa is good!" He was inhumanly tortured while handcuffed. He is now in a vegetative state and unable to take care of himself.
11. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Yujue Arrested
Ms. Wang Yujue from Taikang County, Zhoukou City and two other practitioners were reported while distributing truth-clarification DVDs on May 12, 2010. They were arrested by officers from the Maozhuang Police Station and detained at the National Security Division, Taikang County Police Department.

12. [Qinhuangdao City Hebei Province] Ms. Ning Yuying Detained at Kaiping Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Ning Yuying from Louzhangzi Township, Qinglong County, Qinhuangdao City was arrested as he was talking to people about Falun Gong. She was sentenced to forced labor and taken to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, in Tangshan City, where she was rejected because she failed the health examination.
On May 12, 2010, Ning Yuying was sentenced to forced labor again for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The Legal Section of the Qinglong County Police Department took her to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
13. [Taian City, Shangdong Province] Mr. Liu Jinming Sentenced to Forced Labor
On May 13, 2010, police officers from Dongping County arrested Taian City practitioner Mr. Liu Jinming when he was distributing materials about Falun Gong. He was taken to Zhangqiu City Forced Labor Camp in Shangdong Province after being sentenced to a term of one year and nine months.
14. [Kunshan City, Shangdong Province] Ms. Jiang Meiying Detained at Kunshan City Detention Center
On the afternoon of June 1, 2010, practitioner Ms. Jiang Meiying was arrested while shopping at Oushang supermarket in Kunshan City. She is held at Kunshan Detention Center.
15. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Yue Sentenced
Ms. Wang Yue was illegally sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prison term by the Putuo District Court.
16. [Taian, Shangdong Province] Mr. Xie Aihua Arrested
On May 19, 2010, 2010, Mr. Xie Aihua, a practitioner from Shankou town, Daiyue District, Taian City, was arrested at home by officers from the Shankou Police Station and State Security Brigade from Xushui County. Mr. Xie is being held at Taian Detention Center. His home was ransacked, and his computer and personal items were confiscated.
17. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Mr. Bi Changchun Sentenced to Forced Labor
On June 4, 2010, the Public Security Bureau's State Security Brigade in Xushui County arrested Mr. Bi Changchun and sentenced him to one year and a half at Baoding Forced Labor camp. Mr. Bi, 35, became a practitioner less than six months ago. His wife was imprisoned in the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

18. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Xuezhu and Others Arrested
On the evening of June 4, practitioners Ms. Xie Xuezhu and Ms. Li were arrested while distributing materials about Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.
19. [Wuan City, Hebei Province] Mr. He Shanlin and Mr. Liu Tianyi Arrested
On June 4, 2010, at about 5:00 a.m., Mr. He Shanlin and Mr. Liu Tianyi were arrested and taken to Wuan Brainwashing Center.
20. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Ye Yongfeng Arrested
Officers from the Futian Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Ye Yongfeng on May 31, 2010. She is currently detained in the Futian Detention Center.
21. [Jiedong County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Huiliang Arrested
On April 26, 2010, Jiedong County's practitioner Ms. Xie Huiliang was arrested by an officer from the Yunlu Police Station as he applied for a document at the county Public Security Bureau. She is being held at the Sanshui Brainwashing Center.
22. [Shuangpai County, Hunan Province] Ms. Qin Yali and Mr. Chen Xu Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Qin Yali, 43, and Mr. Chen Xu, 63, from Chuangpai, were talking to people about Falun Gong on the morning of June 2, 2010, when they were reported to local police and arrested. Their whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Additional News about Ms. Wang Xiaohong and Ms. Wang Qiyan
On the evening of May 31, 2010, when Ms. Wang Xiaohong and Ms. Wang Qiyan were talking to people about Falun Dafa, they were arrested by officers from the Jiangxia District First Police Station. Ms. Wang Qiyan was taken to the Wuhan City Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Wang Xiaohong is being detained at the Jiangxia District Detention Center.
24. [Chongqing City] Additional News about Ms. Chen Changlan
Police officers from the Jiangjin area arrested practitioner Ms. Chen Changlan in the Dajiang District of Chongqing City on March 4, 2010. They took her to the Jiangjin Detention Center, after ransacking her home, and confiscating her laptop computer, printer, and other items.
25. [Wuchang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yao Yunxian Arrested
Ms. Yao Yunxian was arrested on or about June 3, 2010, as she was talking to people about Falun Gong. Her whereabout are unknown.
