(Clearwisdom.net) MELBOURNE, Australia--When Greg Murray wanted to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts matinee performance at the State Theatre in Melbourne on Sunday, May 30, he just had to persuade his wife to come along. He was so taken by the show that he was back seeing it for a fourth time in as many days, and he didn't want his wife to miss the experience.

"I was going to lull about today, but he persuaded me," Lois Murray said after the performance, referring to her husband persuading her to come. "I had to go and see it, and I'm glad I did. The colours, the dancing, it's absolutely breathtaking, I've never seen a show like it. Outstanding, absolutely outstanding," she said.

Mr. and Mrs. Murray are both retired teachers. Mr. Murray taught physical education, English, history, and religious education, and Mrs. Murray taught first grade. The two also owned a business selling books and pottery on Melbourne's exclusive Collins Street.

"I just think it's the best theatrical experience I've ever had," Mr. Murray beamed.

"The costumes, I loved the colour combinations. I loved the pale lemon with the pink, and the pale green of course. I love the colour. ... The whole backdrops, and the way they brought them into 3-D. It was stupendous, really," Mrs. Murray enthused. "It could have gone on even longer. It was long, but we were never bored. And the presenters were very interesting."

Mr. and Mrs. Murray, both agreed that it was a beautiful show.

They both agreed that it was a beautiful show and Mrs. Murray said the spiritual content of the performance was "amazing."

"I've studied quite a bit of Buddhism," said Mr. Murray, who is a Christian. "Very interesting," Ms. Murray said. "And the tradition, the old traditions that you can't get now in China, it was very interesting. And it's lovely that they're doing this outside of China and letting people see how wonderful it was, all that traditional dance."

They said they were aware of the persecution of Christians in China today. Mrs. Murray said it was regretful that many people are persecuted for their beliefs in China today, referring to the performance Nothing Can Block the Divine Path and Astounding Conviction. These performances depict the present day persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China today.

Mr. Murray bought some memorabilia at each show, some even in Chinese, so he could view the pictures of past performances and keep the experience of Shen Yun with him until next year.

Mrs. Murray found the performance "very uplifting," and both said they would be coming back next year to see the show again.
