(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, at least 9 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1.[Yitong County, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Qingguo Arrested
Mr. Li Qingguo was reported to the police and illegally arrested while he was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong in the afternoon of May 20, 2010. He is currently detained at the Zhengyangjie Police Station, Yitong County.

2. [Wuan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Yanfang and Ms. Pei Xiuye Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Jia Yanfang and Ms. Pei Xiuye from Furunzhuang, Tushan, Wuan City, were coerced by officers into a police station and then sent to a brainwashing center.
3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yin Xiuqin and Ms. He Xiurong Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Yin Xiuqin and Ms. He Xiurong from Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County in Fushun City were taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City by officers from Xinbin Police Station on May 19, 2010.

4. [Liuhe County, Jilin Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Zhao Guihua
Liu Jianlin and other officers from the Qianjin Police Station in Liuhe County arrested Ms. Zhao Guihua at around 10 a.m. on May 10, 2010. She was sent to the Tonghua Hospital for a physical examination, and then sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp on the same day.

5. [Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Huilian Detained in the Gucheng Town Police Station
Ms. Zhang Huilian, 45, from Gucheng Town was arrested by plainclothes police officers in mid-May 2010, while she was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong in a market. She is currently detained at the Gucheng Town Police Station.

6. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Summary of Persecution of Ms. Zhao Jun over 11 Years
Ms. Zhao Jun has been arrested and persecuted many times since July 20, 1999.
On November 15, 1999, she was arrested by Jiang Weifeng, deputy chief of the Dongfeng Police Station in Qitaihe City, and detained at the Liulu Detention Center in Qitaihe City for 15 days.
In June 2000, she was arrested by the Haidian District Police Station in Beijing and sent to the Haidian District Prison. She was later transferred to Qitaihe No. 2 Detention Center by Li Zhi, chief of the Dongfeng Police Station, for four more months.
In September 2001, she was arrested again by Li Zhi and Qin Yong from the Dongfeng Police Station and detained at the Qitaihe No. 2 Detention Center for another four months.
In 2002, she was forced to become homeless in order to avoid being arrested again.
On August 29, 2008, Ms. Zhao went to Xiangyang Village, Qiezihe District, to clarify the facts about Falun Gong, but was arrested by Liu Tao from the Qiezihe District Police Station and detained in the Qitaihe Prison for four months.
7. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Lefei and Ms. Yu Lu Arrested
On the night of April 25, 2010, Mr. Wang Lefei and Ms. Yu Lu were arrested while they distributed truth-clarification materials and talked to people about Falun Gong. Ms. Yu Lu was sent to the Shisanling Brainwashing Center in Changping. Mr. Wang is currently detained in the Shisanling Detention Center in Changping.
8. [Jingyuan County, Gansu Province] Mr. Bai Sanyuan and His Wife Arrested
Police officers from the Jingyuan Police Department came to the house of Mr. Bai Sanyuan and his wife in Pingbao Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, at 7 p.m. on May 16, 2010, and dispensed tear gas until the couple fainted. They ransacked the couple's home and then arrested them.
Mr. Bai Sanyuan had also been detained three times in the past due to his belief in Falun Gong. He became disabled and could not walk for a period of time as a result of persecution. He was later able to restore his ability to walk through practicing Falun Gong.

9. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Li and His Wife Interrogated
Officers from the Guye Police Department, the 610 Office, and the Dongbeiqu Police Station ransacked the home of Mr. Zhang Li from Zhaogezhuang, Guye District, Tangshan City, at around 10 a.m. on May 19, 2010. Both Mr. Zhang and his wife were taken to the Dongbeiqu Police Station in Zhaogezhuang. While Mr. Zhang was released, his wife was held to be further interrogated in the police station.

10. [Shanghai] Ms. Chen Fengjuan Arrested
Ms. Chen Fengjuan from Chuansha Town, Dongxin District, Shanghai, was followed and reported on May 18, 2010, while she clarified the facts about Falun Gong. She was arrested by police officers from the Domestic Security Team and taken to the Zhangjiang Detention Center. Her home was also ransacked.
11. [Honghu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Qiyu, Ms. Hu Shi, and Ms. Tang Fangqiong Arrested
In the morning of April 19, 2010, officers from the Hubei Police Department, the Honghu Police Department, and the 610 Office arrested Ms. Wu Qiyu and Ms. Hu Shi at their homes. The officers also confiscated their computers, printers, and other objects.
In the afternoon of the same day, Zuo Shihong, deputy chief of the Honghu Domestic Security Team, police officer Xie Xianhui, and Li Datao from the 610 Office arrested Ms. Tang Fangqiong. They also ransacked her home and took away her computer.
The three practitioners are currently detained in a detention center in Honghu City. They are on a hunger strike.
12. [Leshan, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Zhilian Arrested
Ms. Chen Zhilian, who is in her 60s, was arrested in mid-May, 2010.
13. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Huang Yonghui Arrested
Mr. Huang Yonghui was followed by the members of the United Security Team while he distributed Falun Gong truth-clarification materials on May 15, 2010, and then arrested and taken to the Chaoyangjie Police Station. He was transferred to the Changsha Detention Center at 3 a.m. on May 16, 2010, and is currently detained there.

14. [Chongqing City] Additional Information Regarding Arrest of Ms. Fu Xinbi
Ms. Fu Xinbi, 64, was arrested at Sanxia Plaza in Shapingba District by officers from the Yubeilu Police Station at noon on May 17, 2010. She was transferred to the Baihelin Detention Center in Shapingba District and told that she would be detained there for 15 days.
15. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Zhang Xu Arrested
Mr. Zhang Xu was arrested while he clarified the facts about Falun Gong on May 13, 2010. His whereabouts are unknown. The police also ransacked his home and confiscated his computer and Falun Gong materials, while his 90-year-old parent watched in fear.
16. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Bo Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
The Ranhulu District Court illegally sentenced Ms. Liu Bo from Longnan Area, Daqing City, to seven years in prison on April 27, 2010.
